Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if there is some big news coming, that mini pump looks like insider info.

I would agree. Gut feeling is we're going up at least in the short term.

Tarmi, have you closed your short yet?
I felt pretty good about closing my $290 short at $260 (~10%) this morning. How much bigger of a profit are you looking for in one trade?

shorts are up, let a few more morons bears short at the bottom and then we should be ready to bust 300 by monday

I love your sweet lies. Do you really trade in accordance with this sentiment?
lol!
no

edit can't lie, being overly bullish on the forums has, and continues to, cloud my judgment.

Well, at least you're not here just to see Bitcoin burn to the ground

Monkey thinks price will be downish until Monday-Wednesday turn starts a steady upward move, but 250 will hold the bottom.

I ask again, has your monkey got this bitcoin thing down yet?  I know he/she was a bit weak several months ago.

My Cargo Cult TA© says buy as of an hour ago.  I already bought yesterday as I anticipated the change due to the quickness of the dump.

Remember so far this past week it was
buy at 282
sell at 290
buy an hour ago at 260 (I bought at 253)

Monkey has been well fed on a diet of analysis and has been bang on the last few posts.  Aminorex has brought Monkey up well.

Throw him a banana, don't frighten him off?

I think the uptrend will resume after the fast dump yesterday. BTW: I closed my shorts at about $10. It was about 3 years ago if I recall correctly. Tongue

so let me get this straight, 700k went long on that spike to 269.5 on finex, and at about the same time 450k went short. I guess one could well have been in response to another. It looks like the long was a margin buy, did anyone see it?

There was a 5k wall placed at 250, minutes later it broke up into staggered walls, seconds later it looked like all 5k plowed into the asks.

sorry, yes I think I answered my own question... if the asks he bought were shorts, then, well, bla  Roll Eyes

still unsure of the motivation behind such madness... but there we go, does madness have reason?

you are not telling it right.

someone borrowed another 1.3 mil, flashed it with a massive buy wall on 250, a lot of lemmings and whale kamikaze bought a lot of short positions.

that's it.

and I prefer wine to beer.

so it wasn't the spike to 269.5? or if it was, maybe a mis-click?  Cheesy

all in is the only way to trade though right?

I can't even read a simple sentence anymore, too much excitement, too little sleep. Holding this short as I think we may possibly jump off a cliff still, 6h on wisdom is telling me stories I want to hear  Cheesy
