Not true. Periods of abnormally low volume are normally the calm before the storm. Usually the move following a period of low volume is substantial. Lower volume during an uptrend usually indicates buyers are losing interest and lower volume during a downtrend means sellers are almost done selling.

There've been a ton of low volume phases in the last year or more. Lots of people wheel out the calm before the storm line then not a goddamn bean occurs for another few weeks or months. Sometimes low volume just means good old sideways and boredom.

Absolutely, which is why I try not to talk in certainties with my analysis by frequently saying "normally" and "usually." All technical analysis and volume analysis is merely speculation based on history and repeating patterns. The hope is to simply be right at least 51% of the time.

Is the weekend sale over? I was promised $275 coins!  That wasn't even a decent assault on support. C'mon, teddy bears. Gimme yer coinz. 3600 get mined every day taking almost a million new dollars daily just to support the price. BTC swap costs are next to nothing and you have a full 360 days until the halving, so what are you waiting for?

You wanna be patient and regroup for the next attack? Fine. I'll wait for you. Just remember that each coin you sell at $280 is one less coin you can sell at $270-275.

The more I read this thread, the more I want to sell everything I own and just buy Bitcoin.

That would be the best investment for long term.

Long term ruination? It's a long old road away from being in the bag yet.

Short term, it would fuck up your finances severely. But long term... nobody knows. I would guess you would do great. But I've been very, very wrong before.

No doubt the bears will be out in full force soon...they tried hard for the last few days but leverage short is a big mistake at this point imo !

Shorts on bitfinex at 9600. No one shorting the rallies anymore.

If we hold this technical level the next three months could be exciting.

EDIT: and the walls are gone, toehold back on 280 again..

somebody's putting in a bunch of asks far enough from spot that they won"t get triggered. Then buying at spot, moving the asks higher rinse and repeat. an assload of coins are being bought from the defenders of the support line taking profits too early.

It won't be surprising if it goes to 290$ this week.

I just really hope I manage to get some BTC below $300. So, guys, prepare to go past $320. God knows whenever I want cheap coins, the price goes up  Undecided

Broke 281

Breaking 282-283 would lead to a quick rush to 285 in my opinion.

Let's watch and see...
