Karpeles arrested..

I was lucky enough not to lose any coins at mtgox. When I got started in 2013, there were already ample rumors about their solvency and future, luckily I heeded those warnings and stayed away. I hope everyone that lost coins there eventually gets credited (wasn't kraken going to do some sort of payout on mtgox claims)?

Karpeles arrested..

Good.

He's criminally implicated.

Or criminally negligent on a real rosy day.

But hey, the $1000 days were fun amirite?

I won't panic until $220. Then at around $210 I'll just start to freak out, but on the inside. Cool

We are in bull market,  golden cross has occured.

The golden cross occurs when a short-term moving average crosses over a major long-term moving average to the upside, and is interpreted by analysts and traders as signaling a definitive upward turn in price in a market. Once the crossover occurs, the long-term moving average is considered a major support level for the market from that point forward. Cross may occur as a signal of a trend change, but it more frequently occur as a strong confirmation of a change in trend that has already taken place.

So 250 USD is main support.

We might be revisiting $270s, I'm really anxious to buy $275 bitcoin. With the upcoming halving, you never know when it's the last time we'll see these prices. 220s to 240s already made their farewell tours, I think. We'll see.

considering the trashing commodities and emerging market currencies have received since mid 2014, bitcoin has done a fair job in regaining and holding around the $300 mark.

In fact, after falling in step with oil, gold, EM currencies for the best part of a year, the recent bullish turnaround might be showing bitcoin distinguishing itself from these asset classes.

umm 200 incomming  Angry Shocked Huh Roll Eyes

We're down 3 USD today, what is all the panic about? For real world terms 3 USD will buy you a coffee or a burger.
That is literally the price loss over the last 12-24 hours, let's all calm down shall we & see how this plays out. It's not exactly time to start tying a noose & hang ourselves Grin

3$ when you have 200btc it's a loss of about 600$, it every depends on how many coin you own, if u have 1 o worries but if u have more a dump of 10$ would be a lot of money

I'm a HODLER so I have no worries at all. The vast majority of my stash is in cold storage, I'm waiting for at least 5 years. You haven't lost anything during a period of downwards price movement unless you sell at a loss. Nobody sells on the way down unless they're retarded.

Oh how retarded I was selling on the way down from 1000. How retarded I was to more than 6x my stack on the way down. lol. Comon mate, better permabull arguments than telling people selling on the way down is retarded. Selling now could be a golden move if we drop 50 bucks.

srsly!

i dont know how some of these guys even function if the most obvious & logical practices seem retarded to them.

hurr, selling high & buying low is retarded, durr

i sit watching my profits AND potential dwindle, while i post complete shit.. hurr

ppl who tripled, quadrupled, quintupled their holdings are retarded, derp

'murika! = freedom!

winning

(i've added 15% to my stack this year, and they cost me 'nothing'.)

if we go to derple digits, i'll be adding HundredS that will also cost me NOTHING

I've been a bag holder since the price was ~$10/BTC. Boy do I feel stupid. That 18 months I was underwater in 2011-2012 actually caused me to sell some, but not this time.

That stash I have in cold storage, it isn't going to get smaller. It's going to get bigger until I am almost certain I can sell and buy back in at a lower price. That will be the next bubble, sometime before or slightly after the halving next year.  Every day is one day closer to the halving, and so many stupid miners are selling everything they mine. Thanks for that. I mean, I know you need a ROI for your hardware and electricity, but you're making it pretty easy for me to increase my holdings.  Maybe you and Laszlo can share a pizza and gloat about all the suckers buying your coins. and when the block reward gets chopped in half and difficulty makes your asics obsolete, you'll have memories and and a few bucks in your pocket, but what you won't have anymore is positive cash flow. I'll have all your coinz, bitches. I don't need BTC income. I've got two jobs and I guarantee I can wait you out.

You assholes that are jealous because some of us got in early, you don't know what it was like to HODL.  We have piles of coins you can only dream about, but we got them before there was any infrastructure, before we even knew if we would be considered criminals for owning crypto. Before smart contracts and multisig wallets. We had faith. Faith in the laws of supply and demand, marginal utility, comparative advantage. And if we didn't have patience, we acquired some along they way. So if you want a wider distribution of crypto wealth, I suggest you stop crying about "early adopter luck" and take some intelligent risks.  People thought I was crazy for buying in at $10 when the price had only recently been under a buck, and for a year and a half, they were right.  But I don't regret buying in at $10. I regret not buying MOAR when it crashed to $2.
