Nobody sells on the way down unless they're retarded.

Or trade professionally in the financial services market.

Well, if he sold his customers' coins to the Chinese and has now a boatload of CNY waiting to buy low...
I suppose from prison he won't be able to move his hidden bid walls above 100$. Wink

why would he want to buy back lower anyway?

If anybody gets a sign that Karpeles is buying any bitcoins...

I am still surprised he didn't vanish over all for good or bad...

I think buyers are exhausted after the Greece run up.  Now newly minted coins are being dumped by the thousands on a daily basis.

I then pointed the Tokyo Metro Police to the Willy Report, which seemed to match what was reported to me a year earlier. (At the time, the lead investigator seemed surprised and wanted to know more information about the Willy report. I gave them the URL, and I wasn't asked about it in previous questioning (I wasn't working there at the time this alleged manipulation started).

The Willy Report landed his ass in jail, thank god for whoever wrote it. Oh and most in here dismissed it as pure fud  Kiss

The only time I suspected something was wrong (beyond Mark himself) was in April 2013 when my ex-employee contacted me to report there was an account that seemed to be buying bitcoins at a surplus rate, and it seemed to be internal to the company.

And so the 2013 april bubble was explained Smiley It was all a big scam folks.

Finally, a sign that we can actually learn WTF happened with MTGox. BTW: Just got the news that Mark was arrested this morning by the Tokyo Police.

Do you think this could explain the april 2013 bubble?
Quote
No proof, but yes. I think this was the cause of the bubble at that time, and perhaps subsequent bubbles.

Plenty more fun to come I'm sure. I wonder whether the Chinese exchanges will fade away before any shonkiness is exposed there too. There are no shortage of strong hints.

Right campers we are approaching crunch time. Will bitcoin hold the line or not. I suspect it will. Everyone selling now is doing so to the man with 10000 coins on the bidside orderbook right now.

Place your bets..
