Did anyone buy ETH?
Currently trading at 150x ipo price!!!
(well 25btc worth but still lol. Actually trading at 20x ipo)
150x? Really? Damn I was thinking about getting like 2btc worth of ETH back then when it had was 20k ETH for 1 btc.. mhh shit happened  there is still bearly any volume, I expect it to fall quiet a bit because the Project itself have some serious funding problems... |

Sounds like the perfect pump. I'd be very careful about buying in during a run up like that combined with it being the IPO time as well. Many alts have done similar right after release, huge pump followed by huge dump... |

C'mon volatility... There is a number of bitcoins I want to own before the halving!  Wow. We have had so much time to accumulate, more than 6 months. I would think that most people, who want to be in BTC, have already taken some kind of stake. Of course, sometimes it takes a bit of time to accumulate enough money to invest, whether that is to buy 1 BTC, 10BTC, 100BTC, 1000BTC, or some other personally satisfactory variant goal amount. I remember when I first started investing in BTC in November 2013, my goal was to attempt to invest $30k and in six months, and to attempt to accumulate at least 30BTC...... without really realizing that there would be a downturn in BTC prices for the next nearly 18 months. Anyhow, these kinds of accumulation goals have been tweaked over that time and certainly, i have also had some times of cash flow issues that affect my own personal abilities regarding the extent to which I am able to continue to accumulate.... but fair to say, over the time period, I have accumulated much more than 30 BTC..... hahahahaha.. |

Kraken is where most of the early trades have taken place. There are orders on Polo but I dont think there are any ETH there yet for sale. |

If not, what are their verification/withdrawal policies like? Poloniex, Gatecoin, and the Kraken. Poloniex won't do business with New York residents anymore because of the BitLicense. You have to give your name, country and email address to register but that's it. The Kraken let's you register with only a phone number but you are only allowed very low volume trading. If you want to make bigger trades there you need to supply passport and domestic bill scans. I don't know what Gatecoin requires. |

IPO price was 0.0005btc per Ether... so current price is 20 times the ipo price.. Market Cap close to ripple at 226M $ and that's just the IPO currently without the main function build into ETH yet... We will see if ETH will take over Bitcoin at some time... The Potential is there...ETH innovation makes the Blockchain look rusty and outdated if it would be functional... Sadly I didn't buy any ETH back then... I was really thinking about buying back then but I was too blinded by Bitcoin back then... sadly.. |

I wouldn't compare ETH to any other shitcoins with unknown developer... PayCoin was Crystal clear scam everybody with 10 fingers should have seen that.. Get some information about ETH before comparing it with the shitcoin scene... You should have heard about names like Stephan Tual, Garvin Wood, Vitalik Buterin and Vlad Zamfir .. No, in the time ethereum manages to get a gui bitcoin will have the marketcap of the us$
The only reason for the (early) release right now is that ethereum has only enough money for 6 months - optimistic view.
They are trying to dump ether for btc for fiat right now.
I know there is still a lot of work to be done before ETH is really functional but the fact that it is currently trading at about 20x the IPO price is really remarkable... |
