If this bubble can reach $1k, will it promptly create a crash from all of the sellers at that price point?  Or will it begin much sooner ($500)?

The more it goes up, the less I want to sell.

Am I seeing this right, some pitch-fork waving yokel is selling his coins at a lower price than Stamp for unwithdrawable Gox Dollars? Bitcoin just gets crazier by the day.

I think this 10k wall was healthy in the end, so we could really measure the strength of the rally.

I do wonder, if it is a bad sign that someone parts from such an amount of BTC?

Here's a "back of the envelope" theory:

Base to Peak ratios
Bubble 1:    $1 to $30 (30x)
Bubble 2:  $13 to $260 (20x)
Bubble 3: $120 to $1,200 (10x) Huh

Bubble 3: $120 to $1,680 (14x)

Much better. Can't be linear and go to zero.

just going to say this...

maybe gox is trying to get enough fiat to send people.

Gox has plenty of fiat.  They don't have either (a) good US banking partners or (b) the required licenses.. still.

This is the best explanation that I can think of.  It also fits in with the intelligence level of Gox to try and do all 10k at once.
