Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I like Gox because it has two step authentication. I hate relying on passwords only. Does any other exchange offer 2-step?

I never realized that was a Gox "exclusive" lol, but yeah, I wouldnt use an exchange without 2 step..

On Bitstamp go to Account->Security to enable 2-factor authantication.

(Once it's back on-line, that is)

As for multiple pages to do trading: use multiple pre-opened tabs.

bitstamp is down again... starting to become annoying

Getting flash-backs of Gox in April. With their awful UI, not good at all.

I've been getting burned several times with the lag and downtime of stamp... i've lost btc now.. as much as i was gushing about bitstamp's fees it seems its really only for cashing out and i should move back to gox to trade.  irritating.

Same here,Got burnt too in trading, stamp is just not good enough platform for trading and there is less much volatility than on gox.

fucking hammering an order in to find out that they've locked out my funds on another order that I can't see.. after lag. wasn't good yesterday.

they need to have everything on one screen, cost me a couple hundred dollars / BTC whatever you look at it even though my moves were correct and I saw everything coming.  Would have worked fine on gox. No perfect way to do it

and now stamp is down, great
As a backup you can use some kind of trading tool like http://qtopentrader.com/ (supports gox,stamp,btc-e,btcchina) , that uses trading through api and is more user friendly than clicking through web interface. Even has trading rules ability, that lets you make subsequent orders / sells based on various parameters..

Sounds legit, there seems to be an invisible wall at 264.

No such thing as an invisible wall, at least on Gox. Or Bitstamp. Or.. most exchanges.

Not the market leader, but it seems they have a quite nice set of restaurants. Couldn't find a difference to "pizza.de", the market leader at first sight.
This sure is a USP for them, I'm gonna switch Smiley

Don't flame me, but thinking about the Great Wall of Gox, isn't the only person who can get that much fiat out of Gox, Gox?

If SilkRoad == down and Bitcoin price == up
does it mean that SilkRoad == up, Bitcoin price == down?
