I leave for a few hours and like 20 new pages of posts. I could spend all my time just reading and posting in the Spec forum at this rate.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Watching Bitstamp try to make a new high is like watching grass grow and water come to a boil.

It can't get out of it's own way. Definitely going to take some concerted buying pressure to crack that egg.

I always imagine Bitstamp as an old codger, always cynical and the last to approve anything. It'd be nice to see Bitstamp lead a stellar rally for once.

Yeah, pretty much. Its like where everyone goes to sell their coins. Its the goodwill of bitcoin.

quite cute to see a lot of early adopters without market knowledge handing over their coins to people who know what they do

Remember this next time people complain about wealth being overconcentrated with the early adopters. This is how wealth gets redistributed.
Why should ea sell their coins just now? Those I know personally, trade for fun with about 5-10% of their assets and keep on holding.

I invested only 20% bitcoin, the rest gold and silver - what an idiot!

This sort of blunder self-corrects in a few months. (I only invested 1%  Cheesy )
LOL! Congrats, though.

Who knows, bitcoin seems to have a mind of it's own right now, I think it's any body's guess!

The next crash will happen on China time - for the most part it's still novel over there and they don't have the experience of living through the last 2 big crashes. Who knows when it will happen, but I'd set a watch to UTC+08:00.

This is the interesting thing. It's like the old saying, the bigger you are the harder you fall. I'm curious to see if we do crash, wither it will be double digits or not.

Who knows, but I don't think they're going to sell now just to break even. They've gone through an emotional hell and back since April and I'm sure they're all completely zen now and think fuck it after all this shit I'm going to hold like a motherfucker! Tongue
