Meanwhile, back at Gox...

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Coinbase = 274
MtGox = 266.5

Easy exit from gox, buy coins and arbitrage selling on coinbase.

looks like a good place to sell, only if i wanted to sell Smiley

Good news everybody - I will be selling BTC2,000 if we hit 600 this month, or 700 the next!

can i reserve those?  Grin

If this bubble can reach $1k, will it promptly create a crash from all of the sellers at that price point?  Or will it begin much sooner ($500)?

Here's a "back of the envelope" theory:

Base to Peak ratios
Bubble 1:    $1 to $30 (30x)
Bubble 2:  $13 to $260 (20x)
Bubble 3: $120 to $1,200 (10x) Huh

While we're dropping bullish news...

Bitcoin ATM does $100k worth of transactions in first week Shocked

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-switch/wp/2013/11/06/people-have-bought-or-sold-100000-in-bitcoins-from-a-vancouver-atm-firm-says/

Somehow my intuition tells me these coins are either going to be hoarded by casual purchasers that want a bitcoin position but don't want to go through the hassle of exchange verification, or spent right away.  But they won't be SOLD for fiat on an exchange by the purchaser.

Either situation is bullish for bitcoin...

It is nice to see bitstamp at parity with Mt gox for change.  Maybe this wall will be what it takes for the holdouts to change over.

Its a clusterfuck, everyone is hesitant to buy because of that wall.. but there are no asks at bitstamp, so the few people [and really, there are very few] buying there are causing panic elsewhere.. lol.

Bitstamp only needs a 1k buy for $280
