I wonder if the price will exceed the number of pages in this thread within this move.
Was just wondering that myself, it would be cool if they criss-crossed at about $2500 before both heading toward $10000

yes, but not in, unless you trust the Russian mafia with a suit case of cash... they have been pretty solid so far but most people dont really want to do that... they would rather trust some asshat in japan
The interface between Bitcoin and fiat is still embarrassingly fragile. It's all basement startups for the most part. startups in garages with great ideas are the things established players fear the most.

Oh no, Adam has put his uber-bull hat back! Now seriously, since there was no crash, this means that China is the beacon, they keep buying. I expect a sharp rise of the price for a couple of days (how many, unknown, it depends on volume), and then the crash. Come on man, you're worse than Proudhon.. Tzupy, you have been calling crash since $70. Are you still out, or not happy with 300% profit? my bear ate bath salts today!LOL

Even China will stop buying at some point. Not today, but that day is coming. I guess the next question will be, before or after India starts buying? Mumbai ? I haven't even told them yet? haaaa

Yea, was just a matter of time. "Nobody" deposit fiat to mtgox, but plenty still cash out (about 3.6million euro) a month and who knows how much yen to japanese banks. Will be interesting to see what happens next, will people start depositing fiat to mtgox again when the price is same or lower on mtgox?

A garage is a fine place to start a business. You can't stay there forever, though. If you are successful and grow at some point you need to bring in additional expertise and resources to help carry the load and take it to the next level.

At what point do the gox fiat holders freak out at the diminishing bitcoin orderbook and just panic buy to get out? Time to put some gas on this fire.

Bitstamp is even worse in terms of BTC available for purchase. If the increasing prices don't lure some more coins onto the orderbook soon it's going to get very interesting.

I'm starting to freak out a little bit... Take a look at the asks in all markets, a few K's until 300, then NOTHING. This means that if we break 300 and NO new BIG whales appear there is no support at the top, we could repeat what happened in april, more than doubling in one day (from 300) and then...

What did you think would happen when we broke the alltime high? Same old, same old.

People are trading on MtGox because they have no choice now. You can't get your bitcoins out of the exchange. You can't move USD out in a timely manner. Check this tread for the growing waves of bitcoins ' stuck in the ether'. I have done a test of 1.1 bitcoins 3 hours ago and paid the 0.001 btc fee to speed it up. No sign of it on the blockchain, but my balance dropped immediately. So if you wanted to send the coins to your wallet or to bitstamp, you shite out of luck right now. Maybe he will allow it when the coins are back under 100 usd. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324918.60.
