Only one witness left to be worried about at this point:
Ernie Allen, president and chief executive officer at The International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children

Think about the children...

Am I the only one that isn't seeing this senate meeting as bullish?

maybe, i think it is very bullish indeed!

It's going to have the shit regulated out of it. Coinvalidation won't have nothing on what the Gov will force American bitcoiners to comply with.

I love Carper relating Bitcoin to the early internet over and over, hehe.

EDIT: YES JENNIFER! It IS an apt comparison!!

This is the very best angle possible. Highly bullish if this becomes the dominant narrative going forward. Incredibly bullish in fact.
Yes, in a couple years we are all going to look at this moment, as we collectively sat staring at our screens, typing away on Bitcointalk as a defining moment. The next chapter begins!

I certainly hope it works out that way. The "financial Internet" is a term that may catch on, more so when things like colored coins and maybe mastercoin catch on.
Yeah, bring it on!

This is as much about bitcoin as it is about these law enforcers defending their ability to enforce the law. So the track record is good.

So go nuts bitcoin. next stop Mars

As someone already pointed out, the American government doesn't miss business opportunities.

They'd just hamstring the domestic market relative to the world if they over-legislate.

Someone dumped big hoping the hearing would be worst case scenario.

Now that it's sounding like it is exactly what we thought it was going to sound like, people are buying back.
