Big money wants in, don't be fooled by the big fish who patiently waits for cheaper coins.

This is no 2011, the stakes are much higher this time.

lots of coins were bought... but it means nothing still...there have been small lift offs since Friday into Monday no after burn though.

I will agree there was a lot of volume, in that quick window.. but if its new money.. and this doesn't cause lift off.. imagine those weak hands.. with 850 coins Cheesy

After reading that catastrophic 750k inheritance disaster story on reddit,..where not only did he get raped on the initial asset sale.. he then goes and buys at 850.. sells at 500 or something.. either way lost about 75k in a trade.

These kind of people see bitcoin and go herp derp I'll triple my money.. and then they try to day trade like there financial super stars.

I think what we need to see is sub 700 to break the cheap coins at 750-850 range, after that it could be either enough fuel to cause an after burn or what I'd like to see a test of the support levels. sub 700

It's a learning process really. I'll guess most of us lost some initially when trying to be the big trader. It all seems quite easy in hindsight - I just should have bought here and sold here..
Guessing most didn't start with that high stakes though.

I bet you this last buyback was Prime Dice getting back in finally https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.2260   Cheesy

It is a conspiracy of course, but it is a happy time!

Would be too funny, to see PD up within hours of that trade

I panicked a little earlier and have a sale of 0.44 BTC for 223.08 GBP pending on localbitcoins, fortunately the seller hasn't responded yet, I'm pleading for him to cancel ! I hope he does but hes under no obligation to do so. I was planning on buying back in at a lower price, thinking we might see the $600s again. The stability of the past 3 or 4 days has been making me really edgy for some reason though I'm very confident Bitcoin will go into quadruple digits next year but at the moment I think it's too soon. I'm imagining a lot of sell offs before christmas but at this rate who knows!

Well if this is the general sentiment it just means that we are going up and fast.

You will see more of the heard into Bitcoin, and they will just bring in liquidity.

and huge volatility.. if you can shake em so easily.. these could be FUD .. but at the same time I know its perfectly feasible to believe that there were many people who bought at 850 with to the moon playing in their heads.. and freaked out when they thought the correction was to the floor ( of 0$ ).

started with a small buy at 140 coins.. and bought all the way up in to the 600s... I've yet to feel the panic or the thoughts of its value going to nothing.. but I did almost get caught up with selling high and buying back in lower.

That's just a minority. I think the majority is smart enough to do proper research first and then buy and hold.

even if he's a minority.. I aimed to get about 10k in to BTC.. this guy has done zero research my guess...and is investing ..easily 10-20 times as much as me.. this skews the weighting hugely..

Also that probably no one in this thread is taking part in the real bull/bear fight.

Semi related...I enjoy watching this is as well. I think I see the fight take place in this sense. CaVirtEx used to match and follow Gox so closely, if not Stamp.. I swear CaVirtEx currently has lead balls.. Gox spent hours at 750 usd think it was Saturday evening and though its low volume and the weekend CaVirtEx was just watching ... saying I know your coming back to 800 see you soon. lol the most panic equated to a small portion of a btc selling for 750 Sat night( I guessed 740 shucks).

Similarly the buy up by gox.. didnt phase Virt at all no1 from there thought that was a liftoff sign.. Stamp followed suit a bit but not as much

Let's not rule out insider trading. Not necessarily on positive news. Could be related to expectation that getting fiat out will become even more difficult.

There really isn't enough merchants accepting Bitcoin yet, I know its still very early days in the grand scheme of things but you would of thought we would be hearing many more big companies getting on board given all the media attention recently.

Also a big sell-off just before we hit $1000 again is guaranteed in my opinion, especially if its a slow gradual build up. If there is a lot of pace behind it then I'm sure those looking to sell would hold off and see where it goes.

yeah, i think a lot of small-time holders will sell off at or around $1,000.. all you need is a manipulative a few big-time holders at $1k to make a sell wall and we might see a big crash.

That was kind of awesome but eventually uneventful. Will keep sliding back down unless another whale comes in throwing lots of $$$

If BTC6k didn't get bulls running how much would it take?

And so much for all of that TA, all useless when on person can move a market 10%
