Still waiting on confirmation, but it looks like the MtGox bankruptcy may be in the final stages now (I'm honestly surprised, I never expected those coins to see the light of day):

*COINLAB SAYS AGREEMENT SUBJECT TO CREDITOR ACCEPTANCE
*CREDITORS CAN CLAIM 90% OF BITCOIN THEY ARE OWED FROM MT. GOX
*COINLAB REACHES DEAL WITH MT. GOX CREDITORS OVER BITCOIN CLAIMS

That's interesting. I recived an email from the MtGox Bankruptcy Trustee today as well.

To whom it may concern:

The Rehabilitation Trustee has uploaded the "Outline of the Draft Rehabilitation Plan (January 2021 version)" on a website. The URL of the website is as follows:

https://material.mtgox.com/

The password required to access the website is as follows:

How can I get my creditor number? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit

I got the same thing.

The creditor number is in an older e-mail.

I think they denied my claim because I only had like .4 BTC on the exchange when it went down.

Though I had more on Bitcoinica when it went down...maybe 40. But I used an old work e-mail.
I have been getting e-mails from people saying they're seeking claims for Bitcoinica and ask me to send proof of my money on the platform...but how do I know it's not just someone trying to use my proof for their own submission?

Getting 40BTC would be nice though they would likely pay me the dollar equivalent which would likely be less than $100.

Guys, so if I wanted to be a blockchain developer, where I should start?
i would love to study and why not become a blockchain dev because I know it will help me in the future, but I don't have any good sources where I can start, any help!
 thanks.

Look for a bank or government working on blockchain, not Bitcoin. They love that shit.

Also, you won't have to build a blockchain. Learn Oracle.

Damn, 40BTC... I'd find a way to get that email back for that amount of coins! For a modest amount of 10BTC I'd get that for you...  Grin

I really hate oracle and I don't understand why someone is paying for that crap. but hey, they support blockchain now. sweet, centralized blockchain tables: https://www.oracle.com/blockchain/

edit: lol, they also do machine learning: https://www.oracle.com/data-science/machine-learning/

is it possible to have more buzzwords in one product? what about quantum computing? I'm sure that's under development

OMG oracle still exists?!
Thought it would get merged with MySQL into a new product.
Do they still make this bloated enterprise management software?
Imo a dinosaur, just like ibm's DB2.

Coinlab's getting their $11mil off the top. If/when this whole thing happens, there will be a lot of people out of the crypto game that are overjoyed to get anything back, and immediately sell it.

There will also be a lot of people that have not kept on the emails for the last three years (changed ISP, PC crashed, otherwise lost the emails) that won't have their credentials.

Bitcoin does its own thing. With a fresh outlook of another $2+ trillion spending ahead, I’m not worried about the narrative of Bitcoin the next few months.

At this point I've completely given up any hope of any sort of austerity measures in the U.S.

I'm hoping that the MSM "doom and gloom" narrative continues on indefinitely, along with continual money printer go brrr. The smart who see through the lies and the pandering, opt out of the fiat monetary system, and invest in Bitcoin and other deflationary assets will gain in wealth and eventually inherit the earth.

The ignorant and hopelessly stupid will continue to put faith in politicians to right the ship, stop printing money to excess, and somehow magically create jobs (none of which will ever happen). They will slave away their whole life, only to die poor and miserable. Unfortunately they can't be helped, they can only help themselves.

We are very likely going to be in the beginning of US Civil War II before much else happens.  Watch closely.

"The wealthy can buy guns and ammo for a lot longer than the poor can remain solvent to do the same."
- Me

A lot more poor people.  And a lot of them bought their ammo when it was cheap, long before it was fashionable.

Wouldn't you fucking know it... Wire transfer finally landed after some +$700 moves.

Guess I'll try to tap $36,500 as a start for this round, but my gut says I missed the dip.
EDIT: Orders placed @ $500 increments down to $33k. Off to play some video games.

Probably a major factor in dragging it out.
