OOM is grumpy, and I'm grumpy too.

Earth is one giant meat circus.

Bitcoin stuck @ $20k too. Fuck this shit.  Angry

It's not stuck at $20k anymore.. . so isn't having had been stuck at $20k looking good now?
[...]
Assuming that $20k was the bottom, the only way was up, no?

Exactly!!!!  Yesterday, the ONLY way was up, until it no longer was.

But it looks like the bottom has not yet been reached. Vegeta is not dead, it seems. Who would've thunk?

I would not go that far.  Sure we are getting closer to testing $17,593 a second time, and it does seem that the closer we get to that, then the more likely that it will end up getting tested.  For sure I don't know, and I would think that sooner or later the whales are going to run out of weak hands to shake.. yet we know that when they are able to push new lows, it inspires more HODLers to realize that they are not prepared to hold, especially if they believe that they can sell and buy back lower.. which may well not end up working out too well for them - and we have surely seen that selling at the bottom happen on a fairly regular basis.. it is not an unusual phenomena and none of us really know the bottom anyhow.. that's for sure... but gosh.. Vegeta seems quite the visionary idea going in the WWWWWWWRRRRRRROOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG direction.  So stop with the negative thinking.. You might be contributing towards the cause of all of this... ... haahahahahaha.. you might be willing DOWN into happening with your current negative nancy energies... .shit..

IMHO, things will start getting interesting in 2024-25, and well after the MtGox/ETH/POS experiment repercussions. It will probably be the toughest HoDLers' endurance test of all time, with lots of mindrustenings by weak hands along the way.

Aren't we already experiencing "interesting times?"  Hory sheit, we have been mostly below the 200-week moving average for nearly 3 months now.. . that's some pretty extreme (and also interesting) shit..

Two more years of waiting. Easy (but boring AF).

I hate to put any kind of timeline on these matters, but sure, you may well be approximately correct..

Even if we use $1k as our approximate cost per BTC, we are still 18x up, no?  Maybe I am going beyond the royal "we" here?   but it still seems that we have a lot of flexibilities, even if many of us likely feel a lot of self-impositions in regards to selling any cornz.. .. and it feels a lots better than the last cycle when we were floating below $5k for more time than preferable, which was ONLY a 5x of appreciation which felt like even fewer options.. .so yeah some of us are either back to buying BTC when we already feel that we have enough or we are just HODLing through these matters.. and we are refraining from selling any BTC if we can avoid it. .. unless we already have advanced into a kind of liquidation stage. but even if we are in somewhat of a liquidation stage, we still may well have quite a few reservations in shaving off much if any BTC in these historically low BTC price territories...

@JJG

Everybody is too accepting & calm. I dunno, hope I’m wrong but I think we have one more leg down before reverting to 20k & crab marketing for 12 months.

I’m just trying to look for similarities with the last cycle. Although we didn’t get a blow off top so maybe the bottom is in. I guess this is why they say prepare for all outcomes.
Playing out as predicted, new lows coming sadly. Don’t pass up the chance to get cheap coins.

Oh gawd.. not you too..    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I recognize that you are probably not referring to me specifically, even though you had an @JJG in your earlier post.. but I should respond to clarify anyhow by saying that you should already somewhat realize my system, and I have posted regarding some of my deviations from my system without trying to give too many details.. but still you likely have some ideas about how I have been rolling with these matters, unless you are worried about my having had not sold enough? and worried about my having had bought too many at too high of prices?

Genuine recommendation overall or gloating or trolling?

You likely already realize that if you transition into a tone that appears to be cheering down, then you are likely going to get some backlash from some of us folks.. whether we are frustrated or not.. but even if I am not personally frustrated, I am still likely going to get mad for the mere sake of it for anyone who seems to be cheering for down.. or even seems to be cheering that down has happened.

Bitcoin has nothing to do with "souls."
Altcoins have nothing to do with "sin."

This framing does nothing to help Bitcoin's adoption.

Please calm. Bitcoin will break the speculations of many parties one day. From $20k it has now dropped to $18.7k traded.

Absolutely not cheering for down, brother. I am still majorly bitcoin invested, net worth wise. Probably something like 90% bitcoin, if we want to calculate real estate, stocks, bonds & stuff. I’m just saying what I see it though, it looks like down before up.

OK maybe I’ll secretly enjoy buying cheap coins but it doesn’t change how I think this will play out. The world economy is a mess, we’re going into a deep recession. Everything is going to tank but this is where us smart dudes prosper where idiots fall.

Lower lows, crab market with slight uppity until we hit the halving at $40,000 or something. Bull run starts & we’re well into 6 figures (USD) by end of 2025.

I don't know... we'd better consult Bitcoin Jesus, Bitcoin Judas, the V God and the Crypto Evangelist on this matter or was he talking about the trigonometric function commonly written as sin?  Come on Dan, it's time to take a step back and ask yourself, "What would Satoshi do?"

Before I really get off in the weeds, is there any context for his tweet?  I don't recall anyone trying to frame Bitcoin or altcoins as anything other than "bubble" or "scam" but then, I'm not a CEO of bitcoin adoption and or promotion.

We experienced a decline up to 18 thousand 500 dollars. Now, after a slight fake rise, there is a high probability that we can start the journey towards the 17 thousand band again. In any case, we need to test the 17 thousand 300 band in the near future. After that, bitcoin will undergo a little more accumulation process and decide on a direction.

Bitcoin has not only given us many up and downs this year but also some unimaginable downs. Which has caused a lot of loss to our traders brothers. At the beginning of this year, Bitcoin was around $40,000+, but it has been trading up and down between $17,000 and $21,000. It is not yet clear what will happen to Bitcoin. But I think bitcoin will reach many more heights in the future which will gain the maximum height and it will come back as a trusted and strong coin.Because Bitcoin has been legalized in many countries and it can be expected that in the future paper money will rise and all countries will complete transactions with cryptocurrency coins. So it goes without saying that Bitcoin will never go down completely.
