Aug 16 (Reuters) - Coinbase Global (COIN.O) said on Wednesday it had secured approval to offer cryptocurrency futures to U.S. retail customers, scoring a major regulatory win even as it battles a lawsuit from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The move will allow Coinbase to offer bitcoin and ether futures directly to eligible U.S. customers. This isn't really "news" and Thomas is now a die-hard Ripple guy who never had much faith in Bitcoin which is probably why he gave two shits about the password for his IronKey device. I believe he lost those coins in 2011 due to his nonchalant attitude wrt Bitcoin. What really keeps me awake at night is wondering if Laszlo has any of that pizza left in the freezer and what did he do with those two pizza boxes?? Those boxes would be worth their weight in... uh... omg! With the advent of Bitcoin that phrase has no meaning. NEWSThe advent of Bitcoin deprecates commonly used idiom! |
