Yikes!  My planning is much more basic than the work you've done in your referenced thread.  Yet the way I sold in prior spikes (small frequent slices as the bull markets were in full swing and soon after the ATHs) was similar enough (though unstructured) to your spreadsheet suggestions.  I do not plan in such detail for a few reasons:

1)  at this point in my retired life I tire of spreadsheets
2)  things change so fast that I will make decisions, sometimes, on the fly
3)  I have never had enough BTC to attain one of your FU status amounts, but that's fine with me as my wife and I are retired OK, you may remember me re 1% - 2% of net...
4)  my sales-in-slices strategy worked well in 2017 and (especially) 2021
5)  I might not have the discipline to follow a plan...

I certainly concede that my somewhat relative success has been in at least part due to luck.  But, as I considered in the past with my own views of probabilities of price movements both uppity and downnity and our financial situation and rather plebian knowledge of Bitcoinistan, I was just fine with the gains I made.  Which have not been game-changers, but that's OK.  Especially 2021...

My game plan is likely to be "rather 2021-ish."  Sell off small slices every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, once we reach some $80k.  In 2021, I started selling at $30k, and sold off slices throughout the double spike.  I then started buying again at some $40k - $45K (too soon, oops).  My last purchase was just this Monday, I haven't made up my mind when I'll buy again.  My buying more-or-less conforms to the spirit of DCA even if sloppier, but, hey it works without overly taxing my brain.

Next week watching Dune II

Very looking forward

I recently watched part I again with my wife to introduce her to the story, because i will take her to the cinema for part II.
When i was 14, i read the book, before i read the remaining ones and also bought the enceclopedia (parts 1 and 2). It was a no-brainer to rent and copy the first movie on VHS, the one by David Lynch, an i also became quite a fan of him afterwards.
In Part 1 (2022) they did everything right. Not too much effects, awesome score, the space created by slowness, lighting and minimalism. The only thing i didn't like was the lack of building tension, which might be only me, because i already knew the story in and out.
Too bad that Frank Herbert doesn't have a chance to watch and comment on it, or even take part in its production.

And not seen the old version

You won't miss anything, but for the old times, it was brilliant. The new version is remarkably authentic, as was the old one (AFAIR), when you don't look too much at details that were omitted to simplify the story and ease the flow.

Bitcoin BTC is now the 5th largest currency in the world.

A quarter of the Yen's MC, and when it is passed, it's only a small step for Bitcoin but a giant leap for mankind.

Good morning, gentlemen.

Feels good being nearly 40% richer than 1 month ago. This is nothing though, where we are going moon suits will be required.

Hey WO brethren!

Simply couldn't ignore what is happening atm. King Daddy is pumping hard and all is well. I'm looking forward to at least a year, possibly a year and a half of pumpening and great fun. I hope we will finally hit six digits this cycle and I will sell some coins.

I saw several posts on aging by some WOers. Yes, my hair is turning grey and I also wake up at night for a pee now. I really hope that when BTC pumps well into 6 digits I will still remember what I needed Lambos, hookers and blow for...  Grin

My body is ready. Will you give us peasants a hint on when to sell? I remember two previous cycles you had almost perfectly correct timing!  Cool

Agreed, only in case of emergency... I swear! Btw, do buying hookers and blow qualify as emergency? Asking for a friend...  Grin
