The BitStamp wall has been at the same price for about 7hours now...I watched it go in 10K @600, and then it was moved a couple of times before settling at 579.34 since when it hasn't moved.  I tend to think if this was a tactic in part of a larger strategy, then we would have seen the wall move price testing support.

That it hasn't been moved suggests s/o simply cashing out or a naive or inexperienced trader rather than a master manipulator.

NB Above theory could be total bollocks

or a smart trader who will sell now and buy much cheaper....

That or we're screwed. I'm sending more BTC to builder now anyway, double or nothing. Hurry up Stamp "waiting to be processed"

So… it's actually cheaper to send bitcoin to gox rather than wire money and buying bitcoin? I'm interested.

like 1,5k coin dump @0.3, could be finally arbitrage, since gox/stamp price is like 0.23-0.25'ish. Or just a panic

Someone just woke up on the wrong side; saw they had some 10k coins then decided "wtf, I might as well cash them out". So ... hits the sell button and then goes to sleep.
Someone else panics with their 2.6k coins on Gox and just clicks "sell @ 50$"
Good opportunities here and there for the average trader, I only wish I had a "20-minutes-read-into-future" crystall ball Smiley

I saw at least 1000 go at 0.19 way below market rate (admittedly still higher than someone might have bought at Gox earlier)

for me, the scene is set for a price plummet.

all we need is a 500~1k dump on stamp.

do i understand that right?:

you speculate on that btc-builder will exist longer than your gox speculation will run, so that you can get your btc out again and not be trapped in gox?

Why would bitcoinbuilder not exist anymore? Is it not making a nice profit?

Man when will this saga ever be over ?
I just Gox takes a decision already so we can all move on, otherwise we will waste a few more months in limbo waiting for trains or dooms...not fun at all.

The odds are 5:1 right now at these prices. I don't believe the odds for Gox BTC are as bad as that in reality. I might lose a lot of real BTC, so what, it's all play money I mined anyway. It's worth a gamble at these odds, I will have no regrets if I lose.

Sure, if MtGox dissolves then btcbuilder will too. But partaking in this type of "gambling" insinuates that one is willing to remain trapped in Gox.

I have to leave now, sadly, but I would risk being trapped in Gox at 5/1 odds, 20% of my stash. That's 20% chance of me doubling the number of my coins.

In a way its worth the gamble if you have the balls for it. I think also that people are over reacting. Maybe the bots on Gox just dump like crazy do plummet the price for arbitrage. Who knows...but I don't think Gox will go down without a fight.

Even after it will return some of the coins in a few months it will become a ghost town. You have to be an idiot to trade again on Gox imo.
