And permabears gonna permaFUD.

Protip:  It's called facts.  If you just listened, your "holdings" would be worth twice what they are right now.

As much as I hate NotLambchop I have to start agreeing with him.

Why don't we all get this thing down to single digits again so we can build the next bubble?

Why would bulls feel stupid?

The majority of bulls have made a lot of money and bears have lost a lot of money (Not sure how this even is possible? Beartards gonna beartard I guess)

The majority of bulls have made a lot of money

Tell that to the folks who bought in at 400+. Given how high the price went, I would think they would make up a decent percentage of the bulls (especially if they're still holding), no?

LOL Perma-bull?

Was I a perma-bull when I sold at $155?

To tell the truth, I felt more bullish when I bought back at $97.

How do I feel? Far from stupid. Bitcoin has been good to me.

At this point I would be fine with hitting low double digits and starting over with a new hype cycle, but this time with better technology, wallstreet investors, regulation, etc.... $260 won't sustain anything, so might as well plow the scorched earth before being reborn like the phoenix. Yet again.

Sounds good to me. I think whatever happens, we need to go sideways for a long time and establish a strong support below before we'll be able to establish a new uptrend. This long, drawn out downtrend has created quite a lot of resistance above. We need to make a long term launch pad for the rocket.... maybe from $100s or double digits though.....

I've set my buy orders around $45...

You think the current prices are low enough, huh ? Wait till Satoshi Nakamoto starts dumping...

Also gotta deal with the Bitstamp hackers slowly dumping 18k coins on the markets.

It's rather telling that loaded hasn't been around for a few months. I guess he got his fiat and got out?

Can you seriously imagine bitcoin not succeeding?

That's impossible, considering how much it is needed. It's time to get back at the big banks.

Listen to Max Kaiser, he knows what's up

7 billion outside of this forum don't agree with you that it's needed. Keep that in mind when you wonder if Bitcoin could fail.

You just don't know what 7 billion people are each thinking. I like the animated GIFs better.

Seeing how it gets more tiny by the day after 6 years it certainly isn't Bitcoin.

I dunno if this panic dump doesn't break the low of a week ago following stamp, I think that maybe we'll have a bottom.

I've read that same sentence about 130 times since 1200.

I didn't join the forum and start posting until long after I'd made the bulk of my Bitcoin profits.

You sound butthurt because you missed the boat. Don't worry, you'll probably get another chance.

I try to maintain a balanced outlook, but permabears can be so ridiculous I have to laugh at them.

If permabulls were anywhere near as foolish, I'd laugh at them too.

Well i was late to the party and i bought most of my coins in march/april 2013. I am still in the green despite buying in 2014. I was massively better off from this particular punt last year but that is life Smiley

Whoever is driving the price down week after week knows exactly what they are doing. If it is miners then it is not in their interests to destroy the very commodity they are mining by crashing the price. Miners sell for income. It is exactly the wrong way to sell your coins in that context to dump thousands of coins on exchanges every few days and by doing so reduce the price for your next sale.

My only real concern has been our friends in the central banks. Bitcoin would be the only market they werent directly manipulating if they are not involved already. Could they destroy bitcoin? Dropping the price aggressively would be a great strategy. We already have some features of the gold market rigging in bitcoin - price moving sharply downwards on good news for example. The best way to dissuade new entrants to the market is to keep the price incredibly volatile and prevent it from rising.

That said this is probably just a nasty bear market with a few greedy speculators with total control of the market. Eventually it will be more profitable for the price to rise again.
