We left the camp after we had inoculated the children for polio, and this old man came running after us and he was crying. He couldn't see. We went back there, and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried, I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out; I didn't know what I wanted to do! And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it... I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought, my God... the genius of that! The genius! The will to do that! Perfect, genuine, complete, crystalline, pure. And then I realized they were stronger than we, because they could stand that these were not monsters, these were men... trained cadres. These men who fought with their hearts, who had families, who had children, who were filled with love... but they had the strength... the strength... to do that. If I had ten divisions of those men, our troubles here would be over very quickly. You have to have men who are moral... and at the same time who are able to utilize their primordial instincts to kill without feeling... without passion... without judgment... without judgment! Because it's judgment that defeats us.
Hah. I was looking for a good picture from that to post yesterday.

Matthew 21:12 And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.
I see what you did there.

I'm starting to think the Four Punch Raiders may have lost control of this market. They need to remember the Hustler's Axiom:
You can sheer a sheep many times, but you can skin him only once.
I ain't buyin' another goddam coin to assist in the short squeeze but I'll short like hell after the pop. BUT this time there may not be a short squeeze. I think there is a real possibility that there will be another drop and the FPRs will get long squeezed themselves.

The most secure currency ever, that even the largest and most powerful exchange can't seem to keep protected. If any of you still think mainstream, "regular" people would ever want to put their money into bitcoin, you must seriously have brain damage.
Which biggest and most powerful exchange? This one, the last one or the next one?

What's the most bullish thing imaginable? I would like some brainstorming please.
The US government announces plans to buy 25 million bitcoins over the next 3 months. It sounds like they should read the white paper first :/ TL;DR Where is it The Honorable Doctor Professor Jorge Stolfi works again? I need to know so I can advice my children to never apply there. If they too need a " " to recognize a joke, it would be a waste of time to apply. I suppose you have me on ignore, so you must not have seen this: It sounds like they should read the white paper first :/
I bet that 25 million bitcoins would be promptly made available for the occasion, with the full blessing of Patriarch Gavin. And this is not entirely a joke. I am pretty sure that the protocol would be turned inside out, with full agreement of all the Defenders of the Dream, if that meant more money for them.

If they did that, they would have created Yet Another Alt Coin (which happens very frequently), and it would have no effect on Bitcoin at all.

I thought you were buying even if it fell to $10?

The 'bottom' does not looking too bottom'y to me. I guessed ~120$ when we were @220$ and its still looks like a pretty decent guess now.
Er on what basis, other than you want to buy in lower and missed the bottom thus far? Edit: no real arb from huobi, fuck these empty Chinese exchanges.. On the basis that we have been going down for 12 months and there is not one reason why we should stop here. You know, the same 12 months you have been saying daily that we're about to go up. Based on nothing more than you holding a few coins and wanting to get rich. Also the months that you started lending out coins for 2 dollars profit a day so people could dump them on the market and take the price down. You fucking tool. You are seriously one of the biggest idiots in this part of the forum. Rarely do i see people as clueless as you are. we could just base it on 2016 reward halving and be totally legit. Reward halving = basis of this ponzi scheme. Pumpers know it and used it well as a psychological moment to push the price up each time in crypto. Except it doesn't work much anymore since people have been burnt in bitcoin and other alts and thus educated. Without interest, usability, developpment etc it won't save bitcoin. i did not say it would 'save' bitcoin. i'm not sure bitcoin needs to be 'saved' . we have 3600 new coins mined everyday that has to play a role. gold and silver is down too. everything is down except fakelands papers. and ......... we will be lucky if the us economy can last until then. u think bitcoin is down because it is dying. i disagree, i think there is much more going on. microsoft putting bitcoin on their website ?? yeah they aren't planning anything. sure there's no development going on at all. ur must be right that bitcoin is total useless.

Yes, I know that bitcoiners have taken solace in that belief, since the 51% risk became real. Keep believing.
