it's always interesting to watch when the mob starts to catch up with a debate that was held already long ago by sharper and more enlightened intellects (not me) ... you can really see how stupid mobs get led by stupid (usually loud and unreasonable) people into the waste lands.

@ Wandererfromthenorth Bitcoin is the gas for the car. Putting you on ignore list right now...
Had him on ignore for months. Ripple is dead so his purpose for being here is now over. Back when my interest here still went beyond laughing at people I used to get a kick out of it when somebody announced they'd ignore me that way. I meant they don't have any arguments left to come up with. Yep. That, or go on rambling about vague references to conversations that random d00ds apparently had "long ago" without citing any actual arguments at all, like this: it's always interesting to watch when the mob starts to catch up with a debate that was held already long ago by sharper and more enlightened intellects (not me) ... you can really see how stupid mobs get led by stupid (usually loud and unreasonable) people into the waste lands.

It's going to hilarious once we really get some momentum and start seeing 15 and 20k bid walls again. I'm sure the bear trolls will still be in denial though.

This thread is pure genious. It's like troll-flypaper. It's meta-trolling.
It's true. I don't know who's trolling who anymore

Simply put TM, anybody but wandererfromthetumbleweeds is delusional TM if you are not sharing his peyote trip worldview of a Ripple-fueled utopia ... dinosaurs are gonna dinosaur http://www.coindesk.com/bitstamp-court-1-million-dispute-ripple-jed-mccaleb/open, permissionless platforms are the future, they will grow and thrive in every nook and cranny of your old, fetid establishment existences, doing 'stuff' you don't like and devolving power off of the undeserving and incompetent ... build your sheeple farms and shiny google feedlots for the 'unbanked'

looks like we are going back down to $240s? what did you expect? newsflash ... tarmi shouts "going down!!" best stfu if you only have one thing to say, otherwise you just look like a drooling mental asylum inhabitant, we might worry about you repeatedly slamming your head against the keyboard next, simple repetitive behaviour is a bad sign and begins a very destructive downward spiral, step away from the kbd maybe?

I am so disappointed I havent discovered this place earlier, having great time. and thanks for your concerns, I am doing just fine. I am not like rpietila. buying bitcoin casles in Estonia/playing monero RPG while dreaming about bitcoin going to 10 k. and that kind of shit.

That's it. I think the future of crypto will be something more similar to what ripple is doing (using the distributed ledgers/databases instead of the cryptocurrencies), if Ripple Labs and ripple implode tomorrow I don't even give a shit.
I'm just observing the crypto space.
My "peyote trip worldview" (whatever that means) is simply the way fiat money works today, simply improved by distributed ledger technologies. Might not be perfect, but proposing that bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is the miraculous solution to all problems and that it will replace fiat is a joke and shows that you are just one of the many cultists like all the other r/bitcoin manchildren.

Your view is very flawed then. Not sure why you hang around on here if you cannot even see the clear benefits of bitcoin over conventional fiat currency.
There are a lot of bitcoiners here (even some permabulls) that don't necessarily think bitcoin will replace fiat by any means.

How does this service work? They don't explain it in their site. Are they using BTC and then converting it to fiat again? Are they just using the blokchain without touching BTC? They just say "we use the blockchain", do you have more details on how this all works? https://aligncommerce.com/howLooks like a shitier version of paypal I dare anyone to locate on that website where they actually explain what the fork they actually do. Lots of insinuation, allusion, etc. But no explanation. Its like an unfunny version of Southparks 1-2-3 PROFIT!!! sketch.
