Seriously! (I'm super serial!)
Who are these negative trolls? I get that shorters trade good when price goes down. But why are they here? All the time? I get so paranoid with all these corrupt agents playing games! Yes, I don't think Force & Bridges were rouge agents. Just expendables. I have even started to worry about what I post. Fucking fed up with this shit.....

You too have to calm down and take a deep breath. Quite frankly your view about "honest money" is a fairy tale to me by somebody who doesn't really understand how the world works, especially if applied to bitcoin (would be a little different if applied to gold at least...).

so cute how the statists are always convinced that they know how the real world works...until it isn't, because people die  Angry

That's exactly how all these silly sausages want you to feel. Who knows who it is and who cares? By the sheer volume and persistence of diarrhea squirted out they've proven themselves to be utterly irrelevant.

Ignore and converse with those who you think are worth listening to. Look back into the deep past of this forum. There was the same squealing and doom all the way through.

If BTC was $100,000 a piece there'd still be the same old crap. People still yell about gold and it's only been around for a few thousand years.

While bitcoiners are justified in ignoring Ripple, they should want to know why they are justified to do so.

As was pointed out by others (including many Ripple haters and Ripple lovers), "Ripple" means two things that are about as related to each other as steel springs are related to water springs.

The "Ripple network" is a system for interbank settlements and currency swaps.  It uses some crypto tools that bitcoin  uses, and is distributed to some extent, but it is centrally managed by a closed consortium.  It should be ignored by bitcoiners because it is not meant to be used or accessed by anyone except the banks, so it is not a competitor to bitcoin.  Even if banks one day decide to deal with bitcoins, they may not use the network for it, and/or the bitcoin network will not have to be aware of that use.

The Ripple coin (XRP) is an altcoin created and managed by the same company that is developing the network.  Perhaps, when the project started, it was meant to be a central piece of the Ripple network; but it is clear now that the network does not need it, and probably will not want to carry it.   Bitcoiners should ignore it because it has most of  the defects of bitcoin but does not have bitcoins defining virtue, namely absence of a central authority.

Isn't this correct?

Has anyone filed a report of any kind with authorities or whatnot? Because seriously now. This is too much Angry

shows that you are just one of the many cultists like all the other r/bitcoin manchildren.

fiat "cultist" loses cool on irrelevant trader troll thread because his RIPple died a predictable death ... I'm guessing you're beyond sensible discussion at this point? (use of cultist was the giveaway, I wonder if they ever called early computer/Internet users cultists?)

i'm getting strong deja vu from $12 mark ... imagine being up 12x in ANY investment ... and then imagine being up 1200x ... hard to imagine, maybe you have to be a 'cultist' to have real vision?

And once you introduce blockchain cryptography, guess what they can do? Have a public ledger of ownership and transfer that cannot be denied because it’s absolutely transparent. It’s absolutely transparent. It is the means through which these individuals can get exactly what Hernando de Soto thinks they best need to bring themselves out of poverty.

It is so much more profound than that, but at its very basis, it has the ability to give these individuals the right of ownership to property. And that has more than anything else, the ability to bring them out of poverty. And I can’t wait. It’ll be adopted elsewhere. I mean, blockchain encryption is such a powerful tool. It’ll be used by banks, it’ll be used by credit card companies, it will become a standard. But what’s more interesting is what it can do to poverty around the world to eliminate poverty.

... crypto blockchain cultists hiding everywhere, better watch what you say.

This is a 4bn marketcap that could potentially be 40 or 400bn marketcap in the mid-to-long term. The cost of "controlling market perception" (and by extension => price) through multiple shills, a few paid articles etc, is peanuts in comparison.
