Good evening Bitcoinland.
Just got back from the ballpark to see the little dip below $220 has reversed itself (for now).
Well done, yall beat up on the Rays and my Tigers took care of the Pirates tonight and ended up in first place in the AL Central w/ a record of 8-1. The pitching tonight was dominant as was the last few games. Don't let Cabrera get at cha in the near future!

Price is slipping. C'mon guise put your back into it and hyperextend those legs! Interesting, but I could press that and more by a long shot prior to my pinched nerve from work, so cool. I'd bet that 300+ on the bench isn't in the cards.

277 looks like tops, ill buy back in on the retraction. I was .10 cents away from my stoploss kicking in earlier today so im happy.
If 277 is your target then you have plenty of time and space to buy in at, and then sell and repeat.

My mother was from Windsor and my maternal grandmother was a big Tigers fan dating back to the days of Ty Cobb. Needless to say I was a Tigers fan before we got a franchise here in Toronto. Norm Cash was one of the heroes of my youth. Hopefully the Gose/Travis trade was one of those rare ones that help both teams. We're extremely happy with it so far. It was a sad day they moved the Tigers out if the AL east. Cheers.

Why do I get the feeling that everyone on this thread is an obsessive gambler, but no one ever wants to be truly wealthy?
For all the fkn around with bitcoin you guys do day trading (and mostly losing), I could have pointed you to at least 5 stocks that in 2014 would have doubled your money going long and holding.

where were you in 2010 genius? Don't you know? Bitcoin started at $1200 and has been falling ever since. It's been a one-way trip south. <insert images of tulips, Beanie Babies, the Titanic, pyramids, etc>

I bolded the part that pertains to me. I sold hundreds of coins at five bucks, and I felt great. Even when price started moving up to 50 bucks I thought "this is awesome, I'm gonna be rich!" But when the price got to a thousand, I just felt nervous and scared. People that were only casual acquaintances started trying to become much more "friendly". One of my co-workers even made the comment that he could hack my private keys with a crowbar. (He said he was joking) If bitcoin goes up at the expense of a dollar collapse, you might be surprised at how desperate people can get. (*NOTE* I've since lost all my bitcoin in a boating accident. I'm just sticking around for curiosity)

That wasn't even enough wealth to attract Wall Street. Bitcoin holders are a long way from "truly wealthy" by their standards.

That is somewhat comforting and disconcerting at the same time... I suppose the "truly wealthy" will still have their estates and security guards and such and if things get bad the poor suckers holding bitcoins will just be targets. (Edit- good thing bitcoin it's gonna crash to zero. And just in case it doesn't, I'm gonna buy extras for all my friends... You know, just in case...)
