Difference being that, this forum, and the NYDFS are kind of different entities, and as far as the Bitlicense is concerned we were waiting for the end of the public comment periods, the latest of which has only recently ended.

I was wondering if infact they were going to extend to yet another comment period, as some have been calling for in a vocal way.

I have a feeling that we indeed will see some action this time, and I am talking sooner(ish) rather than later (i.e I cannot see us waiting another year, maybe not even another 6 months, maybe not even that long at all(ish), until we see the launch of this Bitlicense, and then no doubt Gemini and the ETF to follow, and also a whole host of other ventures that are lurking, until SOON(ish))

It's the same traders as on the bid side. Probably means no ask.

BTC price will be up, possibly a lot. $400 bid on GBTC and not taken... I doubt anyone will sell until all three are up and running. 

There are no trades because the BIT shareholders still cannot sell their shares, at any price.  (I wonder if those brokers who put up the 40$ bids are aware of that.)  Patience, the carrier turtles are on their way.

If I were a cynical person I would say that BIT is stalling on purpose (since last October) because they know that there will be a stampede as soon as they open the gates.  But I am not a cynical person, at least not always.

It means that the dealers are listing their interest in the security, it is a quote submission, unpriced to the inter-dealer quotation system, market makers can enter their quotations on individual securities, either a bid and/or offer or an unpriced indication of interest.

Hopefully, he finally gets a good grasp on what crypto and bitcoin really is and what it can offer going forward. He's smart enough at least to realize that bitcoin type folks are more in line with what he has to offer as a presidential candidate. This is why I started my Rand Paul thread in P&S so more crypto minded folks would check him out and support him so he can make it to the oval office.
