what is this childish crap with flashing walls on bistamp anyway. some rich kid had to many squishees?
If it was another market I would say it was someone working to hold the price down until the US got in but this is bitcoin so. I think it also possibly speaks to a lack of fiat on Bitstamp. Or someone's bot broke.

I'm not a big fan of such a huge rally based on nothing.
While I believe the price should be closer to $400 I am skeptical of a 10+% rise out of nowhere.
If it is based on the Grexit thing (as Reuters claims) then that just leaves the price to go back down when they bail out Greece in the next week or so.
Regardless, I hope it stabilizes above $240 for a while putting a final nail in the bear market.
SIx months of relative stability is enough reason of a for me. I think a lot of people see the potential of Bitcoin but held off buying until they were pretty sure it's reached bottom. Most of them haven't even bought in yet. And I agree, $2xx is silly cheap.

Three days now the price gets jacked up by $5 every 24h around the exact same time. Chinese lunch?

who says that there is no news? just because you don't know about it doesn't mean there is no reason behind it. there are big players making moves behind the scenes.

There have been at least two previous occasions when an unbreakable deadline loomed and it seemed like there was no way to avoid a Grexit. Each time the unbreakable deadline passed, miraculously got extended, and a seemingly impossible deal was done. A few weeks later the whole thing disappears from the news. They will probably do a last minute deal again this time.

So it seems LTC is going up with BTC...
Other than the fact that they are both cryptocurrencies and LTC is used to arbitrage. I don't see why they are doing the same thing.
Anyone know?

Such mini-parabole. Much Wow!
To clarify: I think the price moved up relatively fast right now, but on the other hand, in the big picture it is a very minor upmove, and there seems to be some sceptism (which is natural after a prolonged bear market). I don't expect a big crash, likely some consolidation or perhaps a bigger runup with a larger correction. (EDIT: all predictions for the short-term, on the medium term, I would expect further stabilization or a minor upmove)

Traders loading up on LTC for arbitrage because they think BTC is gong to become more volatile in the very near future.

Stamp just gave a green light for next leg up It's gone down to 252 on Stamp. If people start arbitraging between Stamp and the other exchanges it could push the price down now.

The Chinese exchanges are still about $5 USD out in front and don't show any signs of slowing down. If anything, Stamps is going to get dragged along kicking and screaming. That bearwhale that keeps flashing his fake walls is going to have a bad time.

It is really possible to arb BTC with LTC? Or with XMR?. Since they are based in BTC seems like a flawed logic...

1600 CNY - smashing through the wall, next step 1700? This upwards rise is showing no signs of stopping, seems the bears are struggling to stop this, it's a nice slow rise too, not too fast. Could we reach 270 USD by the end of the week?
