Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Mr. Gabriel, the German economics minister said “But it must be crystal clear what is being decided. It is, at the core, yes or no to remaining in the eurozone.”

yeaaaaa well done greece, i think this may have been the plan by IMF , they couldve easily bailed them out, but they know their game is coming to an end...this is the trigger, now watch the rest of the UN have to suffer the same fate as greece, we must untie ourselves from this financial asset stripping beast called IMF. BRICS is going to take over and we could be looking at a war because the IMF will take us all down with them. Be brave, be sensible and talk and educate everyone, tough times are coming but if we unite we can all have a better future. ( im planning a holiday to greece as soon as the euro has gone, ;-) )

Greeks may send money abroad to their friends to buy bitcoins for them. They could use insured courier packages for transferring the money.

Two greek friends of mine managed to withdrew their euros from their bank account with the help of bitcoin.
They used their internet banking to send euros to btcgreece.com (greek btc exchange with a greek bank account). There must be no limitation for transferring money from one greek bank to another greek bank via internet banking. Then they bought bitcoins and withdrew.

They will find out the hard way.  Most likely a dump will happen after halving.

Yeah, I've been thinking for a few days "this just has to come down at some point" when looking at the LTC price. I got 2 lucky trades in, getting a minuscule boost to my BTC stash, and I'm waiting to see how far it goes. If I had to guess, I'd say it goes to $5, maybe $6 tops. Then whatever happens after its halving happens. I got 0.06 LTC I'm holding on to just in case. I'm waiting for the LTC price to go to BTC0.02 to trade it in, if it doesnt reach that, I guess I'm letting it ride. We'll see in about 50 days.

Don't worry. My brother and I have a loan/repay cycle that we're both pretty comfortable with. I'm sure he can cover me while I get back to my feet if this backfires.

That Litecoin pump was pretty predictable.. People are actually interested in crypto's but bitcoin is just to expensive..

just buy half a bitcoin.
This.  I still don't know why the litecoin pump is still going on, I expected it to crash after the $4.75 USD mark... any idea how long it'll go?  Not even sure why they are trying to pump litecoin... is the sole reason why they are buying LTC instead of BTC just that LTC is cheaper? Huh

Wait til this LTC bubble pops. Cool All those profits are going to be put back into BTC, then the real fun begins.

No reason to hate on LTC just because those who had the balls to hodl it TRIPLED their wealth IN JUST THE PAST MONTH.  Not every crypto has to be a disappointment, you know Smiley

I remember I dismissed it as a dead crypto back in March, when I exchanged some bitcoin to it, and then changed back at a loss about a week after. Now look at it, revived (more or less). Bitcoin and Litecoin have at a positive-thinking feedback loop "just wait and see what Bitcoin's halving will do" a little voice in the back of my head says. "Wait and see". It might be the reason for me to leap into the job's market, just s I can buy some cheap sub-$400 BTC.

I remember a thread about how litecoin was dead saying it would soon be below a dollar. In retrospect I suspect the OP started it to try and drive the price down as low as he could get it so he could stock up on cheap litecoins right at the bottom. Next time I see a thread like that I'm buying, not selling.

Always be sure to do your own analysis rather than base what you do on what other people say. I decided to get into bitcoin sometime February because I was convinced that we had seen the bottom, followed by a dead cat bounce. I thought to myself "put in a bit of cash into this, maybe it pays off". It's definitely paid off, with knowledge alone. Now I know that not only it has paid off in personal growth, but with monetary profit as well. For that, I am forever grateful to whoever "Satoshi" is.

You can pump LTC 5% with about $60k. Do the same with BTC and no one will notice. Also, you try to cash out huge gains for significant sums, you slip right down.

Fun tool for multiplying(or dividing) nickels and dimes tho.
