Can I talk about Litecoin here or will I get censored again?

Does anyone know if this coin is EVER coming down again?

How does a trader even gauge risk in this kind of situation?

Huh I just want to break even after my losses from bitcoin...

i'd be nice to actually make a buck trading.. never had that experience...

I've never seen money fly around like this. Kinda makes me sick actually.

Best way to make money trading is to buy into a speculative altcoin after it has multiplied several times and has gone parabolic, with daily increases >20%, when everybody is talking about it.
Also make sure to borrow lots of money and use a lot of leverage, to get even bigger profits (don't think about potential losses, dream about that expensive car you want).
Everybody else is making mad profits, don't miss out !  Greed is good! Buy Now!  At any Price, Profit is guaranteed!  Buy Buy !
......

--> For the braindead amongst us, that was sarcasm.  This is how your greedy emotions get played and you lose lots of money.

That being said, the amount of shorters on bitfinex is still quite high, so we could see a nasty squeeze before the pump bubble pops.

Hahah. Actuallly I don't care about making money I'd just like to not loose money.
I'm new at this and I lost 300+ USD to trading bitcoin when I started. (~ 6 months ago)
Made most of it back with LTC this week. But... still got about 80 bucks to go.

Bitcoin really looks like the shitcoin nowadays. I guess that was the intent of all this.

I just got into Bitcoin to avoid getting a bank account under FACTA IRS bullshit from the USA.
Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

You're Crazy!

If you care to gamble a bit (and you do, you're in Bitcoin), go for it. It's very possible that LTC will reach $15-18. If BTC starts moving we might even see new highs. Set stops and alarms and watch it like a hawk. It's probably best to not go full in though, buy with something like 20-30% of your stash. If you're going to trade you can't chicken away when the action starts.

I think LTC is just catching up. It dropped way too low during the bear market (back to 2012 prices).

Honestly I am still amazed to see its recent rally seeing how it dropped for such a long time.
As it is now I'm curious if it will correct short term or increase even higher long term.

What do you expect the price to be?

I recall it's price at 1.6 not 6 months ago.

That's why I was surprised to see the rally come back so aggressively
As for what I think the price would be its hard to tell as it could either way at this point
With a moving average of 3-4 dollars that might be the stable once the rally stops or it could just keep rising for now at least its uncertain to predict one way or the other.

Nah....

Tall green candles are followed by this pattern of small candles.

I'll wait. Besides... I made 40$ on this before the rally started yesterday.

So I count myself lucky.

Keep up with the latest news while you are out, if you get a chance.

It might depend on whether the Greek government submits credible proposals, unrealistic proposals, or says manana. If they do a last ditch deal then we get no Grexit and that might slow down the Bitcoin rally, or stop it. If they don't do a deal and we get a Grexit it might speed up the Bitcoin rally.

It's showing some healthy volume. With all the new exchanges and this ETN we've really come a long way from the Mt.Gox monopoly days.
