The train is going to leave the station soon people!
Crypto is becoming mainstream! The ENTIRE ALT game and crypto game in general is changing.
If I was you I would stock up on as much BTC as you possibly can now!

That report may have got the facts right, but the interpretation is quite likely wrong. In both 2013 bubbles (March and November) the price surged in China, while MtGOX and the Western exchanges struggled to follow. The plot below shows te ratio of prices of other exchanges relative to Bitstamp: MtGOX's price was 10% higher than Bitstamp's between July and November 2013, when MtGOX was delaying fiat withdrawals already. However, during the rallies (and also during the December crash) China was clearly leading. "Ground reports" like this one also confirm a Chinese source for the rally.

Yeah, just as fake as the $255 dollars that people were buying my BTC for, the same $255 dollars per BTC I withdrew to vacation in the Bahamas. Aahhh, I have fond memories of that fake vacation. At least I can go back and look at all those fake pictures I took to reminisce.

You have to have something figured up in your head that gives you a reasoning for your hard views. If you're so sure that bitcoin is going to tank to $60, then please enlighten us as to why. Especially since there are more and more businesses and companies accepting, mining, exchanging bitcoins... ?

According to CoinDesk, "VC investment in bitcoin companies dropped 41% from $145m to $85m – the lowest total of the last four quarters (Slide 30)." Plenty of companies shutting down/getting shut down/downsizing/'pivoting away from Bitcoin.'

The entire crypto scene is ripe for change right now. A ton of new fresh money is flowing into the scene. We are going to experience rappid shake ups in the ALTs as crypto directs itself to the more mature and professional coins. I believe as Bitcoin becomes more mainstream these other coins will as well. Bitcoin is only going to further empower some of the good ALTS. Unfortunately many will come and go as this craziness starts. This is only the beginning. You think you missed the boat on Bitcoin? 99% of people out there still have no clue what all of us are up to here on this forum. They have no clue nor do they care about Bitcoin or crypto. We are all blessed and lucky to be apart of something with implications such as this. We are creating such great things for the world.
Exciting times ahead for Bitcoin and crypto in general. Keep your eyes open and look for opportunities all around you. The time is ripe for new fresh growth.

I didn't say that it will tank to 60 $, just that it did tank to 60 after the first bubble (I think the lowest was 50), but I got in at 60. There is a great support there, btw, and I think that in the worst case scenario that support might get tested again during the final capitulation. now, about businesses and companies accepting bitcoins, that's actually bearish cause merchants don't keep their coins. I would not worry about that anyway because nobody is actually spending the coins except for early adopters and gamblers. there is no incentive to spend them. and miners, well, they have to pay their electricity bills. I am pessimistic because I don't see the fundamentals for a new bubble sustainable growth. the ongoing discussion about small vs big blocks shows that not even the devs and early adopters know where to go from this point with the blockchain.

I thought the devs where pretty set on the big blocks by now, and were just deciding on which proposal to implement, and so forth? Plus, this recent increase in price hasn't really been that much of a bubble... from about a week ago it's only increased in price by like $10, and continues to steadily increase. I don't see it as much of a "bubble" like it was in early and late 2013. Now those bubbles in itself was pure manipulation by Gox.
