Is there really any point in trying to guess anything in the near future? There's not a great deal of rationality floating around at present.

Well you see...many on here are extremely naive and believe they can affect the markets through their comments...while the others can't think for themselves and need reassurance on a regular basis.

Pretty sad really.

I only trust in math, never people. Market affected by 50-100 guys salivating over graphs (including me ofc)? Obviously NOT. So, i agree with You, that is why every second poster here are on ignore (the lambs,trollfis, ignorants and such ofc:). It is still a fun place, and sometimes with interesting links, funny images/gifs shows up

I believe that I have a somewhat good understanding of what is going on though.

I think the correction woke some of the Chinese up to the fact that they need to convert some coins back into fiat after they have expatriated their capital.  There should be enough coins on western exchanges or easily transferred by now to keep this from really going nuclear before the auction.  We'll see.

You could have a bot that sells short the amount of the sale, hedging yourself. I somehow doubt bitpay's doing this tho.

Maybe if/when the exchange landscape becomes more legit/secure. (and if bitpay is still in business when that happens)

You could have a bot that sells short the amount of the sale, hedging yourself. I somehow doubt bitpay's doing this tho.

Maybe if/when the exchange landscape becomes more legit/secure. (and if bitpay is still in business when that happens)

I guess they try to make/they'd need to make transition to fiats as quickly as possible, so straight to the exchange. Is that how it works now?
