Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

Nobody knows yet how much they actually paid for those coins. In fact, they haven't paid YET.

Wow China is going all in . And so am I...Cheers! Same as the other rallys, first wave Rise. Second wave correction and the third wave is going to be à rally to 650. IF My calculations are Correct, we are in the beginning of third wave right now, correction is obviously Done. China has hit bottom 3 Times and in sync with predicted pattern.. We are Done falling, resistance is getting stronger. Everything seem to be pointing up.

The DIY ethic only takes you so far, life is a collective/cooperative, not individual/competitive, sport.
Actually, it's both. You should read this to understand more. Most society currently greatly overemphasizes the collective/cooperative, and largely ignores the value of the individual/competitive aspect. Both are important and necessary components of a healthy society.

I'm no expert, but I think the problem of the homeless is that they are without a home/residence.
Typically a symptom, not the root issue. How is giving them "a coffee and a bagel" remedying the situation? And if it's not, how is that "[t]aking individual responsibilty for helping others"?
It is not remedying the situation, it's showing some direct kindness instead of expecting others to deal with it. Whatever the reason behind it, the homeless person is there and likely hasn't eaten. What you do about that is up to you, I guess. (Though established homeless charities will likely make better use of the money). If you're just using other peoples misery to make yourself feel good then maybe you should just keep it to yourself.
A very skewed view of the situation. Though I agree it doesn't really have any place on this thread. But then, what does? Seems like losing too much paper profits makes me cranky. No need to be cranky...it's the weekend and a great buying opportunity! Can't believe its eight hours later and you're still talking about it...LOL! Lighten up man...life is good! Maybe when I retire and open my soup kitchen I'll call it Fatmans! Enjoy your weekend...no harm no foul! I seem to have irked some of your comrades. All I get is the house troll backing me up.

Sure, boredom, but now with pepper...
Did you sell all coins at $2 or were they all on Gox I will laugh in your face when ok ponzi goes down and takes all of your "sound money" to socialize loss of some 20x leveraged dood. Actually, with the quantity of daily and/or weekly volume that we have been seeing, even if the speculative conclusion were correct that the winner intends to dump coins, it seems very likely that the current state of the market, including volume and price direction, would fairly easily be able to absorb such dumping... .. that is given the hypothetical dumping intent... seems to be unlikely FUD spreading, anyhow.
