Were all the orders below placed by the same Bitstamp bot, and if they were then what's the point of them? They are too small to fake much volume. There are alternate tiny buys and sells all exactly the same size. Why would anyone design a bot that makes such a mess of the order books?

Same on finex, a bot shows up about 00.00 GMT and starts buying 0.12 for about an hour then stops same pattern every day for the last week.

I have a feeling that it will test at least one more time 350 USD before further rise and I think rise it is. Any thoughts?
 this looks fairly bullish to me, but i'd say we are overbought, and there is alot of overhead resistance placed at this level. if we do break down, 350 is a pretty good target, initially i was thinking 333, but the charts have since painted a much more bullish picture then i anticipated. Thank you for your response! It also looks bullish to me but I feel it needs a little downward to bunch up from there. Also looking 1w KDJ its turning already but it feels like it needs bit more townward movement before turning confidently upside and making nice cross through. In the same time its just laging indicator but going through history it newer turned so high before. Maybe this time is different. Whats your feeling about that? Thank you! this time might be a little different... market is more confident than 3 months ago, KDJ will probably turn higher than before, but it looks like KDJ can still go a little lower, and Stochastics are telling price is high not low.

We are supposed to see a dump because of the coins used in the Black Friday and dumped by the merchants, why does the price keeps slowly rising?

@Chartbuddy: Nice Avatar!
Is BlindMayorBitcorn related to ChartBuddy? I liked the HAL theme, but there is something deliciously ironic about Brother Ray with 3D shades. Whoever does run ChartBuddy - thanx for the occasional alternate gifs. They almost always elicit a little chuckle.

Because Bitcoin's retail adoption is pretense and has no bearing on these markets.

It was a rather surreal experience.
I first learned of bitcoin sometime in October or November 2013, when Rick Falkvinge (founder of the Swedish Pirate Party) tweeted that he was putting all his savings into bitcoin ("but this is not investment advice"). I did not pay attention at that time. Then he tweeted again about bitcoin while the big crash was in progress. He was furious because, halfway through the crash, MtGox's ticker started replaying the same trades over and over again. (I never found out whether it was a bug, or an intentional desperate attempt by Mark to stop the crash by posting fake prices.) That is when I started digging into the topic in earnest. (I had just given up on following the Fukushima accident, after i learned that the data I had been plotting and studying for 3 months was totally meaningless readings from broken instruments. Perhaps I needed some other disaster to fill the void. ) Later still, in December 2013 or early 2014, Rick wrote that he had a six figure amount in euros locked up in MtGOX, which he was unable to withdraw. I gather that he managed to withdraw some of it eventually, before MtGOX folded for good. Yet, last time I checked, he was still positive about bitcoin. There is a man of strong convictions...
