Hello experts, Noob question, Is there a site (biststamp, bitfinex or any other chinese) which rules the BTC price due its huge volume?
Thanks in advance.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

I believe that the consensus is that Bitstamp is largely the price leader - however, it is inevitable that various activities, including extraordinate volume and upward price pressures will cause Bitstamp to gravitate in the direction of dominant price trends (but that following does not remove bitstamp from being the best guage for price and price direction). likely, you will arrive at erroneous conclusions if you focus too heavily on exchanges that allow both marginal trading and no fee trading - but in order to have a better understanding of bitcoin price and its movements, you are better off to watch the trends on those platforms, as well - which tends to be the case with many of the participants of this thread (once you remove the disingenuous trolls from the mix)

[snip] I wouldn't go selling, i think what we will see there is the odd "bitcoin is more desirable at higher prices" paradox take full effect.
That is actually a really interesting thought. The more difficult it gets being able to own one whole bitcoin, the more desirable it gets to actually own one. Stupid human brain.

I thought that BitStamp was one of the better exchanges. https://archive.is/4rvPedat gate keeper He really does think that he, personally, is the one man standing between Bitcoin and utter chaos and destruction. It would be kinda cute if it wasn't so damned destructive.
