Why are people still talking about block size? Isn't Segwit + 2mb fork already agreed upon by core anyway? Segwit to near 2mb soon and the hardfork would raise it to 4mb in 2017? If the schnor multisig savings plays out, then you could get something like 56 TPS at 4mb.

guys wtf is this, am i missing something or is btc fkd... this isnt gd news ...is it? https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/first-micropayments-marketplace-arrived/To be sure, this website has published one writer’s doubts about the future of 21’s micropayments. In September, the company unveiled its Bitcoin Computer. The computer functions on Linux and works as a bitcoin miner, allowing customers to buy, sell and rent products in exchange for Bitcoin. The computer initially cost $400 and came equipped with a WiFi adapter, a 128 GB SD card and a factory-installed copy of the Bitcoin blockchain. 21 also had its own Bitcoin-oriented OS. “ With this pocket-sized device,( so u cant use your mob?) if you are an entrepreneur or developer, you can now instantly buy or sell digital goods and services at the command line using Bitcoin,” contends Balaji Srinivasan, CEO of 21 in a Medium post at the time of the computer’s release. “We want to use the success of the 21 Bitcoin Computer to help make Bitcoin the next fundamental system resource, available by default on every new computer.” merchants have had a hard enough time tryin to add btc as a payment option for free, lol most gave up , now this is a hard sell to anyone imo. BTC looks fkd to me, it may get its hard sell halvin pump but i dont think i wana stay around anymore, to risky to gain only x2 or max x3 on current price. seems like the only place it belongs is where it started, on darkweb, using mixers and trading around $50

The price has been stable despite around $1.5 million per day in inflation paid to the miners. That means there is a daily influx of $1.5 million. That's some decent demand.

So does anyone ever talk about price movements in this thread anymore? Seems to be getting closer but I just can't manage to touch it. Monkey doesn't expect much movement, but says it should be mostly upward, what there is, barring some catalyst. The current weekly uptrend should end pretty soon, then mostly sideways, maybe a small correction, before a stronger uptrend begins, lasting about 3 months. Does monkey understand the concept of halving? Can he differentiate one banana from two bananas?

No, it's not dishonest. It's stupid. He is saying a ship sails better with no captain, just randomly floating with the tides, winds and currents and whatever the sailors feel like doing at any given time. He dismisses the concerns of the passengers, who don't just want to avoid icebergs and pirates, but actually have specific places to go. Many of us are now just looking for a good opportunity to get off this floating madhouse. this how Open Source works? it's new for you? eat it or leave it. It's not new. I bought in at ~$10 when Gavin was in charge and saw the value of my investment appreciate several thousand percent. Since Wladimir took over, there has been a bump of <100% due almost exclusively to third world ponzi schemers. Other than that, it's a complete disaster. If there is another serious test of $500 resistance, I will indeed get out and I won't ever come back unless there is a change in governance at a minimum. I'm looking for that safe port to disembark. keep calm, stay tuned. everything will be fine. By now, we should all realize some things regarding Bully JoeAllen. 1) In essence, we are never getting rid of BJA - he whines and whines, and whether the price goes up to $500, $1000 or any other purported "exit" target, he's not leaving. We should be so lucky as to have him leave, but he won't no matter how much he says that he will. 2) He's not really capable of being calm. He's emotional, and he seems to need a lot of attention. 3) He lives in a bit of a fantasy world. He wants to imagine some better place out there, but when push comes to shove, he cannot identify 1 other place to put his money that is better than bitcoin.... Yeah, he talks about lending dollars and BTC and blah blah blah.. but in the end, he cannot identify any better place to put his money... so he is going to stay... and nag us all the way past $100k BTCs, if we all live that long?hmmmmm... yeah i think i am going to do that too .
