Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

That's a pretty decent gif, Pumpy. Rebranding seems like such a dumb idea... Coinbase Exchange was a good name... but whatever, that is their decision regarding how they want to present themselves to the world through their name.

Coinbase and Coinsbank are very similar names that newbies could easily get muddled up. Luckily both exchanges rebranded at about the same time.

thanks m8 yea i dunno why the name change,,,mayb dodge taxes lol GDAX ... Global Digital Asset Xchange ?? Is that what is stands for ? Maybe, I dunno. Sounds more 'futuristic' than Coinbase perhaps. A step towards listing more 'Digital Assets' that are not perceived as 'money'. Just my 2 cents bits We need more hype ... 'coin' gotta go ... this is the future

I'm quite sure that there is quite a bit of regulatory risk caused by unreasonable and, arguably, needless regulation in the burgeoning cryptocurrency space for players of various sizes, even for relatively big players like Coinbase and the like. there may or may not be some concerns about attempting to engage in either wallet services or exchange services, these concerns being further amplified and compounded if the concernee engages in attempting to engage in both wallet services and exchange services at the same time, which is to say simultaneously, and they may or may not want to create two or more separate companies (or sell one part and possibly buy another in order to avoid some or all of the overlapping and likely contradictory regulatory issues caused by excessive, and, arguably, needless regulation in the burgeoning crypto space that apply to differing kinds of agencies)

The article is filled with quite a bit of crazy talk. I am not sure about whether he just looks like a fool right now, or maybe he will look more like a fool later. The foolish part seems to be his comparison contrast of bitcoin and ethereum, and it just sounds ridiculously pump and dump.. but yeah, supposedly ethereum is the future and innovative, while bitcoin is stagnant and just so yesterday... He seems to miss the whole point about the value of bitcoin being within its immutability and lack of flexibility and in fact the killer app for bitcoin is bitcoin itself...... and already difficult to alter bitcoin that allows ethereum and a lot of other quasi-centralized building on top of bitcoin and will likely later be able to be secured by bitcoin.

The only thing I got out of that was "You can do more with ethereums scripting language". But the only thing that ethereums scripting language has done is DAO and even that is described as people scamming themselves from their money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-Rnz7TDQ2I
