i swear this is always the best part

These kinds of sharp corrections are much easier to endure when we are clearly in an uptrend.

On the other hand, we still need to be careful not to be too cocky, because sometimes trends will reverse unexpectedly and cause prices to go down much greater than anyone would have expected.

Currently, I am about 96% BTC and about 4% fiat.  I think that I would feel a bit more comfortable 93/7, or something in that range (and I don't think that I will be kicking myself when prices go up and I don't have as many BTC as I would wish).  On a personal temperamental levels, one of my problems, I think, is that I tend to be a bit over bullish.  So if we get a sharp 5% correction, I tend to buy too much after the first 1% or 2% of that correction, rather than having a bit more patience and waiting out the correction a bit more.

Bollinger called it (the fake out):

But what if it's actually...  a double fake out (death swing bull trap)?   Shocked      Cheesy Cheesy

You are a classic idiot poster.  You posted this same garbage before and when it didn't come true, you went and DELETED your post afterwards to try and make yourself not look like a dipshit because it's not in your post history anymore.  You're not getting in any long at $3 per coin for a billion % profit so you can stop being a raging moron now.

Actually, the price movement passed the upper $400s, demonstrates that this latest price pump is more of a product of organic growth and inability to keep the price down, rather than by price manipulation.  TBTB in government and financial status quo industries would have preferred to keep the price below $500 in order to more effectively be able to communicate the message that bitcoin is dead or dying, etc etc...

Their FUCD spreading is greatly less convincing when the price has moved up more than 10% higher than what they had been characterizing as the absolute top (below $500)....   a sad week for bears    Cry Cry  , but a very decent week for bulls... .. Grin Grin ....

A kind of consolation prize for bears is that this upward BTC price run is not over, and there is still time for them to jump on board with some cheap coins in the $500s.. and maybe they may get lucky to get some on a dip to the lower $500s or possibly in the upper $400s.... but if I were a bear, I would not hold out for the $400s when this price range is good enough and is going to seem cheap in the very near future... ..

Anyhow,  maybe some of the bears will be smart enough to jump on the bitcoin love train...??  We don't exclude ex-bears as long as they pay for their own ticket.   Wink Wink

From my perspective if the whale/dragon is from China then he has weird sleeping hours! ... He/she is from France / England / Spain and does trading when he/she wakes up in the afternoon, or some asian meth head that stays all night trading till morning.

But I speculate is someone from Britain with ties with China and uses bitcoin to handle the money of their business in or out of the country.

How likely is it for China to 'at least' put the same constraints on money Xfer into exchanges and other stuff they did last time to slow the outflow of money out of China via BTC?

or is that not a concern anymore (those in power are finding Mining/btc etc too good for themselves because of the above)

Maybe less BTC in their xchange can give them more stability and control to pump as much as they like? They do like pumping ... If them 1+ billion with age of 18+ get a sniff of a trend the hype might get real!

Imagine those mobile rice cooking people at the side of the road trying to sell you bitcoin with their phones...

There aren't any and there won't be any time soon. Most of these rice cooking people don't even have enough money to buy a feature phone. They sure as hell won't need bitcoins, at least not at the moment. Why would rice cooking people need bitcoin for anyways? They have cash.

They usually accept dollars / euros if you give them ... I'm pretty sure if More's law keeps the past 40 years trend going, the processing power will make bitcoin physical transaction mechanics less off-putting and more appealing! ... or wait till someone makes and integrates an OS for phones with their cumulative processing power to make transactions almost instantaneous everywhere depending on the number of phones per square kilometer/mile!

That or people start looking at bitcoin alternatives that won't require those advancements just for bitcoin to work.

I did thought of making some coins ... like real palpable coins! ... and use a USB micro chip flash drive cased inside those coins or some kind of SSD drive cased in the coin ... and just you have a specific amount on different types of coins! And with a data cable you just plug in the coin and in to your phone and you verify if that coin has the amount it says it has and if its authenticity pens out! So you use physical coins. But the problem there is that can be doubles of the same wallet ... but maybe there is a way to lock those coins with a liability/insurance attached to it, like an assurance of confidence. A physical bar code that cannot be read, but just shown from an anonymous world database and that anonymous world database would have preassigned smaller wallet amounts of the transactions that of those assurance of confidence coins. ( damn... this kinda sounds like the Mark of the Beast what I just said ... but only if its under surveillance I guess ... or a supper intelligence keeping track of your facial structure, body language pattern and anticipate your transactions by spying you throw cameras that are usually placed right in front of cash registers ) .... Or just seal the coins by private exchanges with a read only options trough bluetooth or infrared reading with your phones and just sue the exchanges or ask for replacement from exchanges if the coin is broken.

I can already see it 10 Satoshi Coin .. 100 ... 1000 .. 10.000.000  and the 100 million Satoshi Coin / 1BTC. ( but I don't think the 100 million would be inside a coin .. that amount would probably be carried in armored cars and stored backups somewhere safe )
