You can thank the ASIC gods fer dat!!! The ones who make them & use them against the home miner in the name of profits!!!! Only reason I use Bitcoin at all is because there are no localethereum or localfeather . coms to trade my coins fer cash

So where's the big rise Just wait some 2 months and you'll see it That graphic is probably an old, outdated one. As we know now halving happened yesterday, july 9th 2016.Price was around 630. I agree that we will see an delayed price rise due to halving effect. In terms of the price I expect to see 900-1500 at the end of the year.Everything above that I will welcome of course.

So where's the big rise Just wait some 2 months and you'll see it Hmm... Not too sure about that. This two months rule seems a bit arbitrarian to me no? I don't see any reason to it. Especially as nowadays everyone knows about halving. It's not like people are surprised by it!

Were people surprised by it in 2012? That would surprise me.

Especially as nowadays everyone knows about halving. It's not like people are surprised by it! No way can that graph be right...the mining corps will go broke!!!! They can't hold out that long with half revenue And they can't let the diff drop cause home miners may step up mining ops & ruin their takeover plans

About 25% of people lead mainly by trolls and Litecoin people were pushing the theory that the halving would be the end of Bitcoin. Miners would stop mining and due to the difficulty being "too high" nobody would be able to ever mine the next block.

Encouraging that Deloitte spent resources on promoting the tech. Too bad the audiovisual experience made it look like the evil lovechild of Skynet, The Matrix from "The Matrix" and a rapist/stalker.

You must move it left, because this time people expected halvening and bought coins before halvening .
