And then news like this happen in the Northern Hemisphere :  ... http://nyuzer.com/2016/08/11/overnight-temperatures-drop-0-twente

And it is so cold here and I'm under the 40* degree parallel and its under 10* degrees Celsiu... F***!!! Smiley

OMG Here in Toronto we're having a heat wave. Humidex is 42C (107F) at the moment. Opening the front door feels like opening an oven door (okay more like a bakery door).

Rofl...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I just had 2 weeks ago a tropical night with 21+ Celsius.. now its 5-10 Celsius.. in August.. ffs!!! And this is like one of the first or 3rd year of the Grand Solar minimum magnetosphere decline... And we have another 18-19 years from a total of a 22 year cycle... ( 11 years downtrend + 11 years uptrend )

This year the food prices will go bonkers... And we will probably see currency wars and infinite printing for all countries to try and buy their food supplies. And you know if you hear devaluing what that means right?... Ding! Ding! Ding! Bitcoin will go to the Moons of Jupiter and Saturn!

the "leaky bucket" has been patched,
bitfinex appears to be maintaining its lead with more then double the volume (24hr volume) then the #2 exchange itbit
this may or may not be temporary, since everyone is likely rushing to buy or sell or do what ever they planned to do when it reopened
I have doubts bitfinex will be leading next week, but who knows....

ItBit seems more like an exchange for the wealthy and companies for one time exchanges. Not really for day trading. I'm surprised they have as much volume as they do.

Maybe it is an exchange that Americans are using to trade because it is the only one in the US they can trade on.

they do seem to be running an "elite" operation
but i bet they dont discriminate, however they might have more AML/KYC then say BTC-e....
i think i like itbit.
the little bit i've heard about them sounds very good.

WTF is going on with the climate here in S. Ontario?  I just got back from southern Spain and Greece and it was no where near this bad.  Rivers and creeks are drying up, farming is getting destroyed...

Same here in Mich, air conditioners been going nonstop for over a month now. Can't imagine the poor folk that don't have them or their cars are crap and they have to roll around with the windows down for respite - which does nothing for you besides sweat. I feel bad for anyone that has to work outside this summer. Fuck

I guess that would be the question of the century? Smiley

...

But as far as I know is that only in the USA since the year 1600 ... 91% of the total landmass of virgin forests on the territory of that country was cut down.

And also... most of the rivers that where deviated and constrained with dams, started during and after that time...

And also 7 billion people... Cars & machines happened in agriculture... I guess if we destroy all the cars we can clean this planet very fast? Roll Eyes  Huh

If only going back in time and changing things would matter...  Sad  Cry

*Edit: The smog is becoming a global problem, I lived in a place where you could not smell any kind of smoke 10 years ago... just maybe once a year when someone burned something down in the city.. but that was just temporary. And today that place has like a burning/stingy effect on your throat each morning when you wake up if you keep your window open during the night for some "fresh air", especially you don't stay hydrated during the sleep.

*Edit2: I dream of the day when I can enslave thousands of people and make them plant thousands of trees daily and dig artificial river trenches for miles each day! In the deserts! Paying them just 1 Satoshi per day or some sh!t like that.. Smiley   (My goals in life seem a bit offensive and twisted, but I guess its for a good cause!)

Monetizing debt is thus a two-step process where the government BFX issues debt to finance its spending and the central bank sheep purchases the debt, holding it until it comes due, and leaving the system with an increased supply of money.

Exactly what Biffnext did. They introduced new "money" out of thin air.
