Notice that without any China FUD to work with, the whale dumping into his own walls has no effect. Oh dear, wat will dey do without China??  im guessing no meaningful dumps until okcoin etc users can get their coin off the exchanges. if i were a *trader* with coin on there, id be working to keep price up |

Okay so I'm quite convinced that the trend is gonna be bullish... but at the same time I'm expecting more dumps bottoming out a bit lower than the last one (around 960-970)... what are you guys expecting
Price will move to the right. Some up, some down, but mostly right. Sometimes whales dump coins to test the market's sentiment. None of the latest dumps have frightened the market, so its sentiment is bullish. The price will probably move to the right for a while, then up. |

as this is the speculation thread im gonna go out on a limb here and speculate that bitcoin
will either go up or go down... then again it could go sideways.....

Honestly, I still think that BTC value follows Einstein's Theory of Relativity: BTC price is never stable, not for a single moment. But to our eyes, actually to our brains, sometimes it looks relatively stable only because we don't see candles going up & down.
By looking at it this way I bought in below $200: it's BITCOIN that matters, not the price

That is a good relativity theory and you are one of the lucky fellows who invested when the price was around $200 ,the main attraction of bitcoin is the high volatile nature of bitcoin and if you are trader you can make the most profit with the constant movement. |

Bottom should be 950$ and 900€ approximately.
I estimate today's bottom at approximately 970$ and 910€.
$800? Looks more like a head fake and a lot of FUD. You'll not get my coins.
You can call me a bulltard all you want but bitcoin is going to the moon and the above was more accurate than what most bears came up with. |

That is a good relativity theory and you are one of the lucky fellows who invested when the price was around $200 ,the main attraction of bitcoin is the high volatile nature of bitcoin and if you are trader you can make the most profit with the constant movement. in my experience price is obviously not following einstein. schrödinger is the physicist who described bitcoin much more accurately: as long as you don't check the exchanges (=schrödinger's BOX) bitcoin (schrödinger's CAT) is either dead or mooning. it is dead AND mooning at the same time until you open the box. that is the exact reason why you will find lots of media/blog/forum posts "bitcoin is dead" while you count your stash wondering "are we rich yet" at the same time. |

time to go back to 1005 and land softly on 1000 Well no it looks like we are seing some small pump at this moment.  So let's just summarize what happened the last 24 hours. We saw an attempt, probably, to push the price down again from around 1005. And it worked out, 974 was the low on Bitstamp, at least for shome short while.Then we saw imo a good strong bounce and are back up to 1013 on stamp and 1011 on finex. PBOC tried 3 times now to surpress the price and every time they are coming with some announcements the effects of it are becoming smaller and smaller. $1000 range seems to become the new bottom. We are glued here as I said yesterday.I think this is good. |

It's a gamble. If sec say no to winky ETF then you'll get cheap coins then. For the short term. |
