i simply cannot wrap my brain around this action among the seeming chaos of the scaling issue. to judge by the talk, we should, at best, be stable, not climbing. Yet here we are, record highs.

i really am kicking myself over those 10 coins i sold to my brother for $1000. total. :| at the time, that was the price... heck, i think i actually did it in my favor by a percent or two. argh.

and then there's the 15 or so coins i spent on games and other crap... ugh.

Good morning, gentlemen.  Still at it I see?

The good ole days.

I hope we can laugh about it now. He really was a professional.

I member, 280 and bellow did hurt...for a bit. Not sure if i'd say s/he was a professionally but s/he was definitely something. Where did Stofi go is he still around here?
Jstolfi is active on r/btc, the BU crowd loves him.

Huh so he finally found his crowd. Thought he'd get bored singing to a choir there. On a side note, Segwit on LTC is a major win for core, r/btc will need bigger guns to put a negative spin on that

Stolfi had/has deep seated issues that crave recognition both from the establishment (his parents) and a set of followers (the other kids).

The Mayor played Lambie very well. Take that whichever way suits.

I have a side bet with a friend of mine.  I allowed him to choose the over or under for price touching 2k by the end of the month.  He took the under.

I had to let him choose because I took the over on passing $1250 when we passed the price of gold

Suppose the cup chartists are right. What would that imply about the price in the near future?

It wouldn't take much to create hysteria, and Bitcoin hodlers are an odd ideological bunch so many won't sell at any price. Under right conditions i wouldn't rule anything out. At this point we broke through the resistance of market makers and their bands and are now just free floating.

Wow. Checked in after a few frosties after the ball game just in time to see $1800USD and $2500CAD left behind.

Good sport.

I pity those without coins.

One thing is not having coins because you didn't really know about bitcoin; however, there are some people who know about bitcoin, and they still do not have any coins.

The first group can be excused, because there are a lot of them.  The second group is a bit more problematic, and maybe pitiful, as you indicate.

Depth of the cup to the handle breakout point is the then estimated move after it rises post formation.  So 300 to 1100 roughly is +800 from that point which is what we've seen almost.

I'd rather it moved move gradually upwards, this slippage is nice for some but any strong price needs testing along the way.   I see alt coins selling off some as people join the rally I suppose, they may regain some as it steadies out
