Something tells me someone shorted the market. Could be wrong... but ..

If you had any hope the ETF would get approved, call me clairvoyant but my guess is NO.  Tongue

Now would be a great time for the thread's price prediction poll to come back.

What do you think Bitcoin's price will be on June 1st

>$2000
>$1500
>$1000
>$500
>$20

I guess $20. lmao  Cheesy

I'm still looking for $2,000 range, we almost got there few days ago, just few more dollars to reach $1,900 and it still has more than 2weeks before the date so $2,000 is not impossible in my opinion

Siting at the top of a descending channel as of now.
Unless it breaks up to > 1715$ within minutes i'd say it's going down again for the next few hours (possibly towards 1550$).

Let's wait and see.

Up or down ?
Seems the latter for now.

Bottom of the channel may be reached within 3-6 hours, eventually.
If 1650$ and 1600$ are broken the next lower low would be in the 1550$ area.

Holy moley. Just got back from the ball game (and a few celebratory beers) to see an even better buying opportunity than I missed earlier.

I ran out to buy when it hit $1650 but it was back up to $1720 by the time it got there so I passed.

Hopefully it'll still be cheap enough to buy by tomorrow morning.

It is as you see ... 1659$ as of now.

It was, now it's back up above $1700 on bitstamp. Maybe it's best to buy the dips fast during this rally. None of them lasted very long recently.

Indeed. I've missed several bottoms due to the fact that they happened at night when I didn't have access.

Yes, I could have caught the bottoms if I chose to use online exchanges but after losing 50 coins (of the 120 or so I held at the time) to MtGox, I'm determined never to expose my coins to the internet ever again.

I only buy bitcoins directly to paper wallets either anonymously through ATMs or more recently directly from individuals for cash.

If I miss a buying opportunity, I'll simply wait for the next one. No big deal. There are more important things in life than worrying about money. I haven't had a job since 1976. I'm not ready to become a greedtard at this point.

Money's like chicks. The more you chase them, the less likely you are to get laid. Relax and let it come to you.

I didn't discover Bitcoin until shortly before my 65th birthday. Now that I'm pushing 70, I've put together a nice little nest egg for my old age.

Hopefully by the time I'm too old to keep earning, I won't have to eat catfood sandwiches in my twilight years. I'd rather be able to hire and fire my own caregivers and be treated as a guest in my old age instead of being treated as an inmate in some old age home.

The last thing I need to do is shorten my life by succumbing to stress about mere money. Sure, I follow the day-to-day ups and downs of the Bitcoin market, but it's just partially to watch for buying opportunities, and mostly for entertainment.

Enjoy.

Possibly.  Even if it drops though, I'm thinking it's easily strong enough to bottom out over $1500.

Looking at it in perspective, a little drop won't matter, especially since alts seem to have reached their peak and Bitcoin is stronger than ever in the past month.

That's good advice, I got carried away in the past, went without sleep, got over stressed, and made myself feel like crap. Ironically if I had relaxed and not followed the market so closely I would have made more money.

Have you ever had any problems buying from an ATM, like you put the money in and it goes offline immediately afterwards and doesn't send you your Bitcoins?

I haven't had a job since 1976.

How did you manage to avoid working for someone else for over 40 years? Were you self employed?

Breakup of descending channel.

Now price lazily following the previously plotted diagonal.
Maybe some sideways action.

Weak and boring Smiley

Yeah like a drop could matter...
Even if we still lose 200$ the coin will be back on its former price 2 weeks ago

Hope they took that opportunity. This was a ~ $300 correction.
Not that bad if you were looking for a good moment to buy in.
The ones who still think this was too expensive may regret it when we're heading to $2000.

there is nothing worse than the bellowing of sold-out-early bulls, they make me sick (worse than bears I think) ... roach is our best example around here, still fapping hisself about selling out and going full fiat at $600 roach?

Nobody sold out at $600.  I've been buying metals from $800 - $1600 and just made 600% on litecoin too.  Anything I missed in bitcoin I already made up in alts.  There's really zero reason to hold BTC over LTC right now either.  Whoever buys this LTC double bottom will make far more money than anyone in Bitcoin.

how high do you think ltc can go from here roach?
