WTF is going on? I am pretty happy but a bit scared. I hope there won´t be a huge dump soon.

It's pretty inevitable that there will be a huge dump soon, but which side of $3000 will it be is the question?

Looking long term, if we hold out at a decent price until we get to August 1st and Segwit will begin to be locked in, we might finally see the huge push we've all been waiting for. Personally I don't think this bubble is going to pop just yet, but I could be wrong. Very interesting pattern in recent price movement, almost the same thing three or four days in a row. Are we topping out?

Personally I'm cashing out in the form of GPUs and minbg gear at least partially. I still have the majority of my stash and if a crash comes, you better believe I'm going to buy.

Yup
And I feel like I've really opened my short too soon :/

The worst possible scenario would be huge rise to 3500$, making me liquiditing all my positions, then a sudden fallback to 2000$, making me losing all my benefits in capitalization xD
That would not be cool at all.

Just hoping for the dump to happen soon, the sooner the better. Don't want another panick day followed by a flat pathetic 2 years :/

Close your short and wait. All bubbles overshoot expectations.Did anyone see $1000 coming in 2013?

Google trends are now an all time high, people are willing to pay hundreds more than the market rate, exchanges are running out of coins and you want to bet against that?

Of course it's gonna collapse but it might not do so for weeks. There's never been this much attention and demand ever and it could carry on for much longer and higher.

That's funny, your worst case scenario is my best case scenario =D

Be careful out there, leverage + crypto is crazy town.

<snipped antagonistic bullshit from our old mate JJG>

What else would I be talking about you twit.

My trading stash is sold, my cold storage (GPU mined coins) remains intact and untouched. I'm sitting on a fucking enormous profit, not that it's any of your business. My only problem now is the taxman.

Dance your way back into your box mate.

The pin is rapidly approaching the balloon

If you are talking about bitcoin, then you are likely misreading the charts and the overall dynamics.

Sorry for your loss.

You are still misreading the charts, and seeming like you want to brag too much.. and to go on the attack for no reason.

Sorry for your short and your selling too much of your trading stash because we be going uppity.     Cheesy Cheesy   Tongue

it's going so fast. Ho many % in one month ?
Over 100% !!

On a side note, anyone know somewhere in the UK that accepts BTC for a nice car?

Congratulations - enjoy the well earned BTC =)

If it's more than £11K watch out for CGT, who knows what data from kyc/aml is passed to HMRC behind the scenes. Probably better to hold 20% for a year in reserve just in case.
Thanks for the heads up.
Makes buying a Nice car less fun :-(

If you are married, there is a transferable capital gains tax allowance. So if your wife doesn't book any capital gains, that's £22k tax free.
It's one of the only tax benefits of being married.
There are other benefits of course. Just not related to the tax system.

<snip>

I don't trade with leverage.

I sold ALL of my trading stash, and can now sleep at night without worrying about a dump that is, IMO, not far off.

You assert that I am misreading the charts, yet you don't provide any of your own analysis.

My only regret is taking you off ignore again.
