It will be pretty impressive if the market can rebound quickly from those big dumps. If it can recover quickly, then I'd say that is a good sign that we will be seeing new all time highs pretty soon, as it shows market sentiment is still strong. If that's the case, then we will probably see $3k per BTC this weekend or next week.

If the market doesn't recover quickly, then I'm afraid we're in for a long and rough road for the next year+.

I am half FIAT and half Bitcoin at the moment, so I guess I don't really care which one occurs.

pretty much exactly the style of correction I was anticipating. Alas, greed and insecurity meant that I was selling too high and missed the bugger spectacularly as I decided to for for a run in the sun.

I don't expect it to go much lower than just below $2k before recovering

woa woa, wait. To be sure, there's no horrendous news that broke is there?

the horrendous news is that thousands of people paid too much for their coins and then realised it at pretty much the same time. buyers agreed with them.

u buy jimbo?

No. The dip down to yesterday's price was too short lived and I've got less than a grand in my pocket.

Even if I was inclined to consider a price from earlier today to be a buyable dip, for the tiny pittance I'd be able to buy it wouldn't be worth my time and travel expense.

I'll wait until a deeper dip when I have more to invest.

We do have USDT there... and not to mention, it is one of the most followed exchange spots. Even though the owner of Polo is pretty much cheater, creates fake trades, but still we have to accept whatever is going there.

usdt is broken and its price has wavered between 91c and well over a dollar. and you can't get real dollars in and out unless you're in taiwan maybe.

false and misleading it's like always dragging slow below the real btc price ... not cool polotards Cool

I thought there was a Bitcoin ATM just around the corner from you. You shouldn't have any travel expenses. Is it broken or something?

I happens with every major price rally and the accompanying media publicity.

Some might be old members or trolls hiding behind new names, but lots of others are just clueless noobs who think they've got it all figured out but don't know the difference between a hash and a mempool.

They're the really annoying ones.

Boy someone yesterday was awfully sure of himself that selling was such a bad idea ".....we be going uppity."

It didn't really had a fall from yesterday (bitstamp is up 20$ since yesterday, same time). The correction is in a few hours window.
