Quite the scary correction so far. Literally every single coin is dumping. I was worried about the altcoin bubble popping and bringing BTC down with it. We need some positive SegWit news this weekend!
We need some bigger blocks is what we need. I hear segwit will take at least a year for the effectively 70% bigger blocks to come into effect. And either way, it's not nearly enough. We need 8mb blocks NOW, and more in a few years.

Well that was a lot of fun. I'm going back into long term hibernation. I'll see you guys in 2020 for the big one. This has been a great foundation for it.

I'm sure this thread will still be here.

See ya!

They will try ... for sure.

$600 price spread (so far) in a single day, or 22% drop.  Nice pump and dump guys.

Looks like whoever's been pumping this has been buying up and holding the previous dumps back, and they finally dumped all of their coins on us today. Interesting to see. We will have to see what's in store for us this week and in June, but you have to remember this is just the beginning. Segwit launches in August and that'll be the spark to our rocket.

I'm not fond of rising prices on constantly decreasing USD volume on both Bitstamp and Finex.  That's the textbook definition of a roach motel:

Finex:

Bitstamp:

"Smart money" is definitely not buying in such a situation.  All the large players who actually want bitcoin already own bitcoin, hence why there is no volume.  Now it's just a giant CNBC Jim Cramer mad money scheme of trying to find some random guy in the public to dump on at more than you paid.

I have an explanation better than your nap:

I don't always have enough cash to buy, but when I do... It's the TOP!
