Anyone know if all BTC in paper/brain wallets can be moved with the BCC already there or is it not "official" yet
You have to split your coins.  First, wait until the chain has finished forking, and send your BTC to a new address in a BTC wallet.  After you do that, then import the private keys from the OLD btc address into a BCC wallet.

About five thousand Bitcoin ABC nodes just popped up out of nowhere during the past hour or so, which totally represents real users and is not fake at all. </sarcasm>

So in other words, business as usual; nothing unusual is going on.

Where do you have this information from?

https://coin.dance/nodes
According to coindesk there are 487 BitcoinABC nodes running at the moment.

5 more regular blocks and then 1 ABC block with a size > 1MB to go until the HF happens.

Code:
Current median time: 1501585575
HF needed median time: 1501590000

 Roll Eyes

Can you tell me where to get the median time? I used https://www.btcforkmonitor.info/ but it is down sometimes.

There was just insane hashrate boost for clearing mempool.
BCC cant fork when miners do that.

4 BTC blocks just in 4 minutes!!!
5 in 10 minutes!

All we need now is a 1+MB block. Mempool is insanely empty right now, with less than 900 txs last time I checked and mostly ~10 sat per byte transactions or free txs. Can't wait until the Cashers start pumping in fake transactions to bloat their blocks.

Thank you, I would like to know how to get median time from my local bitcoind. I tried getinfo, bit timeoffset is always 0.

Who will fill a 1 MB block? Regular users don't use bitcoin today.

Let's wait a spam machine to turn the engine on.

Whooo what a wild ride today.
Crazy price swings. Hodlers don't freak out.
In 3-4 days, when all the hardfork "drama" has settled I could imagine we are going for another attempt to break the $3000.

Apparently someone has opened hundreds of BCC nodes and they are worried that it is a network attack...

BCC chain is also 2 blocks behind now, so it looks like it is go time, they will need to mine their own blocks now, that could take some time!
I don't really get why the new blocks aren't being accepted by the BCC chain, but they aren't.
