I expected this thread to be a lot busier, people more excited etc. During past rallies & ATH's etc it's been a lot more dramatic. Maybe that shows us that whilst $3000 is great we have much more scope for excitement at much higher prices.

Whether 2.8-2.9 or 3k, it doesn't matter. We've been already accustomed to these price levels. We need much bigger numbers to get excited Tongue

It looks that way doesn't it, I'm ready for $5000 any way. Start up the engines Smiley

The only thing I ever regret about bitcoin is that I didn't buy more Grin Seeing a new btc all time high first thing in the morning made my day like nothing else. I hope together we will get to 5000$.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Got to say it's nice to see Bitcoin above 3100. Now I can start thinking about what 5k bitcoin will look like.

Once again It's paid to go the opposite direction of the masses. Kept all my BTC on exchange for the fork and traded the crap out of 2800-3125 volatility last night.  Now, more $ and more BTC.   I think we will go up a bit further before seeing a bigger correction.  Much harder to pick a top in ATH territory.  Now that everyone is expecting a correction, maybe only up from here for the next weeks?

A jolly good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we reached yet another ATH while I was sleeping and then dipped back down under $3.2k... Currently $3171USD (Bitcoinaverage)

That's $4012CAD, another step up the ladder.

Meanwhile AltcoinCash continues to plummet.

Jimbo is buying all the bitcoins!!

Ha ha... Agreed using the next door ATM:

No, not me. That was last week. I don't buy rallies. I buy dips.

The buy price at my closest ATM has risen by $1140CAD per coin since I bought last week.

Holding, holding, holding...

Interesting article on possible Bitfinex price spoofing.

Author is very disappointed that an exchange like Bitfinex can function without perfect relations with and blessing from banks.

I have a feeling that Goldman Sachs is painting the wall exactly how they announced it, just to announce a longer lasting bear market based on their previous forecast "credibility".  In that case I am ready to buy the dips.

Still haven't got hold of my BiTCH coins. Need to import my private keys from paper wallet. I hope it doesn't go to zero by then.
