Hi bitserve,
How is a paper wallet not protected if a pc is compromised?
Paper wallets are vulnerable at any of the following moments: - When created: Private key generation vulnerability or PC compromised. - When redeemed: PC compromised. They are also vulnerable in case of physical compromise during storing. It seems the security vuln in Trezor firmware would also require physical access plus a not so simple firmware update with a hacked firmware to get access to private key. Anyone concerned about potential physical exploits should go Ledger way. The secure element is a great enhacement in that aspect.

was it you that was happy about blockstream satellites? ,lols , if not ..sorry lol a few yr down the rd when 3rd party segwitcoin needs funds for this (fake) idea...they will tax the network, increase fees, charge for wallets or something else ...but hey its ok, cause blockstream are sending up satellites lol..more like lining their pockets ok 5yr ltr, we now sending a node to the moon, we need to raise fees again...10yr ltr , we sending a node to mars, ..guess what..higher fees lol but its all gd...who wouldnt want nodes in space eh Ok pal. So if you are so unhappy about it: Instead of of bitching and crying about it here, why don't you get the fk off this sub forum, go to some BCash forum, and enjoy your crappie shitcoin clone with the 10 other shitcoin fanboys and b happy with your life?
Oh that's right, because trolls gotta troll. You guys just can't stand the thought of Bitcoin succeeding, can you? It's must really be burning you guys up. BCash is DOA, and your silly BCash forums are dead dead dead. No one cares.Welcome to /ignore

You understand the technical differences between a server-based Hosting and DDoS Protection and a decentralized peer-to-peer Network?

You understand the technical differences between a server-based Hosting and DDoS Protection and a decentralized peer-to-peer Network? It also highlights why Bitcoin is so important. Imagine if the jews had bitcoin during WWII.

Armory talks about lots of security issues in their glacier protocol link to Glacier from https://www.bitcoinarmory.comI have a clean laptop that never sees the internet or wifi, it's got Amory installed, and creates transactions offline, these are broadcast from an online machine that I use for everyday things and it doesn't really matter if its compromised. (transfer transactions between machines using a USB stick) You can create and redeem paper wallets with very nearly 100% safety,

But I still don't see the advantage in security over a hardware wallet while I see the less convenience in usage.

it's called trolling, and shows a bit of click-bait desperation to attempt some kind of non-topical discussion - NOT that this thread has any meaningful ability to stay on topic... but this three links click bait goes a bit over board in the "off-topicness" arena... hahahahaha... but can be kind of funny because you can see a kind of desperation ... let't talk about this, or this, or this or this... in order to not talk about the great things going on in bitcoin right now, including the fact that we seem to be in the midst (or possibly the beginning stages) of an s-curve adoption phase (could be a bubble that takes us to $20k before we experience any significant correction?)

[...] I predict a lot of resistance at $6666.
Had a bit of a déjà vu: Is it my imagination or does Bitcoin tend to gravitate towards $666Someone is a big believer in the bible and the reference to 666.
They are pushing their belief in Christianity through a Bitcoin price trying to link Bitcoin and Christianity.
Some huge religious fanatic with a lot of bitcoins is really going out of their way to spread God's word.
Wonder if Luke has any coins left.
