Maybe in spring $18K. 

But I see comments being deleted, and if you want comments to remain on 18.000, then you need 18.001+. 

remember for every pump in the price of BTC there will be a massive amount of FUD to drive the price down...right now it is about the 'dangerous fork' and bitcoin is doomed again

not saying the FUD is gonna work...but it will be massive..if moneyed interests and hedge funds really want to get into coin ...they will want to slam the price down to 2.5k

because they missed the boat this last year

thus it will be FUD city with the fork in a month..count on it

my only real concern with the fork is bitmain goes with BCH and out of Seg2k and thus we have core/bch/seg2k all with 33% or so....thus no consensus ..thus another 2 years
of crap and no consensus...if someone gets 51% this is not an issue...but if it goes as above it will suck and the price will tank back down to 3.5k imho

cross your fingers out of my (our) hands just saying...these above will be the counter punches in price up/down for btc

again, hope it is all unicorns and rainbows...but how I see it playing out .....just too much price rise for there not to be 'complications' from moneyed interests that missed out the
last year..they are really, really, going to pull all the stops out to get the train back to 2.5k to buy in ......ie a nice reset is a plan me thinks

As another user mentioned in this thread, it would take 30 years for each person on the planet to open and close a lightning channel. And although maybe bitcoin will never use it all, eventually 1MB will not cater.

In the interest of accuracy, 30 years for every human to make one on chain transaction. This could be opening a channel, or it could be closing a channel. If you want everyone to be able to both open and close a channel, you are looking at 60 years.

Why da faq would every user on earth need to open and close an LN channel?

(When 3 lanes are taken) It would take 60yrs for every single car in the world to go through this one 4 lane highway, demolish it and rebuild it so it would handle every single car in this one spot

Yes this is what I'm thinking the whole time about as well.
When the really big money wants to enter they definitely try to slam the price down as hard as they can and make everybody shit their pants.
So after a new ATH around 10k+ I could imagine a bear market happening for about 8-12 months with really sexy cheap opportunities.
After that the value in 5 digits will rise.Everyone who is willing to sell his coins during that period will regret it BIG!!!
Remember: 80% of the coins are distributed now.Only 20% are left! The real fun in terms of moving up and exponential is just beginning!
So show strong hands, and in a few years you'll be set for life!
