Almost 8000 USD ... so close :-/

But it's just business as usual. When approaching a new 1000 we always fall back close before it. A few days later there is a pump which pushes it a couple of hundert USD beyond the limit Cheesy

Thanks to Alcohodl and Itod for their posts clearing up things about LN.

The important part is that channel can stay open indefinitely, there's a big penalty to messing with the channel's funds, and also, that funds can be tranferred to other channels (and even other blockchains) without an onchain transaction. 440000 channels can be opened or closed per day, so, there will be a sort of "power up" phase to open the needed channels and then we are talking about many many transactions per day.

Bitch coin on the other hand..................

Wel well, as the weekend is coming, the noob trolls are back to this thread, just like if this was their vacancy residence or something. Monday they all will be back at home.  Grin

Offtopic: after i dumped my remaining shitcoin at 0.4, my mind blown off and suddenly i remembered my 2013 username account!!! I just tried to login and surprise... That account was banned and my main account too, and i can not access this forum from my laptop because it is ip banned, wtf... This is the message i received:

"Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Your account is locked because it sat inactive for years after the password hashes were leaked in 2015, and was therefore at high risk of being hacked. Email react-vdnp8@theymos.e4ward.com to get it unlocked."

I sent a mail to Theymos a week ago but still not any response.. If anybody knows what else can i do will be really appreciated  Smiley

That is worrying. Furthermore what is worrying is that the release of this forum engine seems very old.
If security was already breached back in 2015 it would be wise to update that at least to prevent further data breaches.

So a thought occurs. Many of us were eager to tell everyone about bitcoin when we first got into it, but over time have transitioned to a kind of... "meh" stage, where we let people come to us and only deal out information sparingly. Which is completely normal and reasonable, given how humans operate.

But how far does that reach? When the collapse eventually happens and we become some of the few people who are still doing alright, will we still have the same indifferent attitude to people? How will things go?
