You speak as if you have never in your life had work that meant anything to you. That's sad.

So let's say you retire. What are you going to do with your time? Watch TV and have hookers blow you round the clock? While I imagine this would be a great time for a week or so, after a while, I'd be looking to exercise my brain.

Have you ever given up work for a few years, temporarily retired?
I did for 3 years, but forced back to work to fund children, the reality for me was very different to how I thought it would be.

If you have half an imagination you will soon realise that works sucks, this 'i don't know what I would do if I couldn't work' mentality is just  drone behaviour, pushed on you by society and MSM, for obvious reasons.

Hobbies & projects, eating, family, adventure, fun, exploration all become something to focus around when you don't need to work.
The planet is truly fantastic, and most of us never see hardly any of it.

Of course some people seem to need work to get out of bed in the morning and prevent them descending in to a couch potato life, but it doesn't have to be so.

I lived off a BTC-paying job, once upon a time.  Wish I HEDL all of it.

P.S. BTC $9013 +   Grin

Some people blindly follow this clown's advice, and then get angry at bitcoin:

https://twitter.com/WolfOfPoloniex/status/933709903109255168

Ouch, buthurt must be strong.

Yeah.
Well.
The Bitcoin community used to collectively organize a push of Bitcoin consumerism on Black Fridays. To demonstrate to the world the power of cryptocurrency.
But what with a large portion of retailers formerly accepting payments in BTC having dropped it, plus the general increased awareness of Bitcoin by the man on the street, I guess we don't do that any more.

Stop fucking exaggerating and defending jbreher.

... proclaiming doom and gloom and spreading FUD based on little to no evidence, including yourself when you go to support jbreher and the other Bitfinex fearmongering

I find it somewhat odd that you have turned an observation about the rather unique and seemingly precarious position that Bitfinex is in, into some sort of referendum on me.

Over 9000!

Coinbase usually trades for a little higher. Probably because the process of getting verified and actually buying BTC with them is easier than on other exchanges.

I think they also include arduous trading fees in the buy and sell prices.

What a wonderful morning to wake up to! And sunny too!

When you look at a 5-minute Bitcoin chart and it looks exactly like a 1-week one, then you know that things are going in the right direction... Euro-ATH approaching 7500 € soon.

Go BTC go!
