Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I'll call it Bitcoin Cash if he pays me. He's got the money, right?

I'll call it Bitcoin Cash if he pays me. He's got the money, right? He already paid me so he is going to have to pay me again. I guarantee Bcash Coin will get under his skin even more than Bcash.

Sounds like it. Bcash is a magnet for these nutjobs. It doesn't take much to set them off and expose their lack of social skills. Exhibit B Craig (too bad we don't have video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YUTq7_vO3AThe interviewer sounds like a dick, but still..... If you watch Roger in these older videos (from the Bitcoin unlimited days) you can see him fully exposed. His argument is basically I use bitcoin, I got lucky and discovered Bitcoin early, I'm a millionaire, so I'm smarter than all the developers combined. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JarEszFY1WYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdyIJ-BUPaUHe walks away very smug thinking he has won the argument, which of course he has not. Tone and Johnny tried, but didn't land a knock out punch over Roger's constant yelling. Interestingly you can see a moment in the second video at 53:20 where a light bulb goes off and Roger realises all he need to do is an EDA to make his next clown coin work. Too bad Tone actually gave him this idea.

I found more upcoming forks. here is a list of coming forks I know of: Nov 25, 2017 - Bitcoin Diamond (#BTD) Dec 17, 2017 - Super Bitcoin (#SBTC) Jan 2, 2018 - Bitcoin Cash Plus (#BCP) Jan 28, 2018 - B2X reattempt by the community (#B2X) I like Bitcoin Cash Plus C'mon folks, aim high - let's fork "Bitcoin Cash Gold"! Satoshi Vision! Who's with me to fork it and pump it above the that ShitCash? I'm in For something different I would try Bitcoin Tethers: supposedly full-reserve non-redeemable bitcoin as-ifs pegged 1:1. How come nobody thought of that! i will buy some mining rig (oh wait, there is still my BFL order that was supposed to be shipped in two weeks TM) and then I will fork BTL. no, BTL stands for BITCOIN LAMBO. and hell, yeah I will peg it to one lambo per coin. of course it will be not an old fashioned proof-of-work but proof-of-speed coin. Great idea. You will have to get a lot of Lambo's. I think it's 20 Lambos (or is 'Lambo' a rude abbreviation?) to stake your Lambonode and the minions provide new tires every month for the fleet, for the right of using BTL. Having premined your Lambos, this is a great deal! what if jihan secretly develops LAMBOBOOST? and wright claims he invented the original Lamborghini?

Meantime 9600 this morning. Was there a nightmarish crash last night?
Nope, None can stop the Rocket ! It actually went up quite a bit last night... Today it retracted a little Oh ok a 100 drop. That must have crushed people's portfolios. Should I sell $20 worth so it will go over 10k? No, it was almost $500 from peak to bottom. But, joking aside, nothing to worry about. Sure, there is a considerable difference between a 1% change in price and a 5% change in price, but both of those kinds of bouncing arounds are within the realm of expectation, especially in scenarios like this - and where we are still trying to decide whether we are going up or down .. and surely the BTC price dynamics cards seem to be stacked a bit more in favor of UP rather than down.. and I am also getting the sense that we have decent chances to reach the $11,500 to $12,500 range before we have anything approaching a meaningful correction of more than 15% -- that's just a kind of gut feeling of mine, at the moment (and perhaps I am feeling a bit too giddy - bordering on GAY).
