Welp, taking a vacation from cash trading since kraken is unusable. Withdrew all assets. Damn shame for everyone involved, but there we are.

I'm totally fucked at Coinbase. Sitting on an obscene amount of fiat from a recent sale, but don't have access to my Funding/Withdrawal page. Something 'tarded like below is what I'm getting.

Sheeeeeeit.

 Oh no Bob.  Good luck!

Meantime, looks like things are back to normal, where normal seems to mean 15k. That's ok but it would be nice if bitcoin did something.... :-)

yeah all these spikes and dips of a couple of $grand here and there are so dull and dreary...

This a time delay exploit that the whales traders will be able to use again and again.

They will shake people out, and while their fiat cash out is trapped in limbo, the whales will be able to move the market back up and fiat sitting in limbo won't be able to get back in.

Yet we just said that to clean up the market would discover 10%, 20%, 40% fake shares, fake business values, fake pension values, therefore fake GDP values, and fake GDP to Debt ratios, and therefore would perhaps lead to an accurate Debt to GDP of 140%, which would crash the U.S. dollar and possibly the nation.

Would a complete U.S. financial collapse lead to a nuclear war?

And it all goes back to fraud we didn’t stop 20 years ago.
How do you solve the problem?

The only way out without collapse is to build an honest system parallel to the existing system and slowly transfer assets from the rotten, sinking ship to the new one.

The captains of the old ship may not like it, but look at the incentives. No one can tolerate the old ship except the pirate captain; even the crew, the stock traders, don’t want or control it any more.

Fortunately Coinbase is not that big of a player compared to the global trading volume Tongue

I seriously thought that 15% dip after 1000% gain this year was the end of cryptography.

I burned all of my private keys, opened up my server to telnet instead of ssh, stopped using a website if it was https instead of http and moved to a wooden house in middle of nowhere.

A similar argument applies to the status-quo elite, who have greatly benefited from the corrupt system and see bitcoin as a risk to that system.

This group includes almost all government officials—especially central bankers—and politicians, as well as the private banking elite.
They are incentivized to defend the old system at all costs, but would be smart to hedge their exposure. Some may be doing so in secret.

So these are the first intellectual hurdles to overcome: understanding that our current money system is severely flawed, and that to prosper and make progress, humanity needs an alternative.

To fully understand this, many people spend a few years researching history and economics away from mainstream educational propaganda.

Gotta love this. I missed that 17,000 dollars price for my monthly allowance.

By the way, CBOE tomorrow is cancelled already?

Why on Earth didn't you do an OTC sale? There's no way I'd trust any exchange with amounts above a few grand. They're too prone to freeze you over AML shite.

How exactly are you going to do an OTC sale for an "obscene amount of fiat" without exposing yourself to extreme risks?

You go to Genesis Trading or Cumberland Mining who telephones one of their nice clients looking to buy. You deposit your coins with them. Their client pays Genesis Trading. When the money is cleared everyone gets what they want.

Plus you get a nice man or woman to hold your hand throughout who won't freeze your arse because you're nothing more than an anonymous reference number on a status page.

Bitcoiner cashes out $1M to fiat.

Two weeks later his $1M is worth $800k compared to the btc he sold.

4 months later his $1M is worth $400k compared to the btc he sold.

In germany a court recently allowed banks to collect negative interest for savings from their customers. It's like they are forcing us to buy bitcoin.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Missed yesterday due to internet connectivity issues. Both my landline and my mobile were down and I was forced to go out to restaurants/bars/coffeeshops just to check the price. Then I got to my gig last night to find out they don't have wifi.

Seems we had quite a day with some serious correction/panic before bouncing right back up over $15k.... currently $15308USD/$19669CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Old coins are currently worth $16861USD/21664CAD (Coinmarketcap).

Now that that's over with, we can start going back up again. Hopefully we'll see another ATH within a few days.

Go Bitcoin go.
